    Took it out of the box and the unit wouldn't power up and open.Took it back to the store and exchanged it for a Sony for $25.00 more.Will not buy anymore refurbished merchandise.

    I got this blue ray player as a gift and it does not work. I am returning it soon. Sometimes the device wont even respond at all.
