My older model of undercabinet combo TV/DVD/Radio/Clock that we use in the kitchen went South. The TV tuner must have failed but everthing else worked. I thought at christmas I thought getting another would make a great present for the wife. I saw tghis one online and ordered it.m It came in plenty of time. The wife was thrilled as she would be able to watch some of her favorite shoes again in the kitchen. So right after christmas I took out the old model and mounted the refurbished Memorex model. The 1st thing I noticed was an external FM ant wire. and then I found out it has an external AM ant. that is an eyesore now. I live less than 2 miles from our local AM station we listen to in the morning ,1490 KLOG, the reception is lousy. the tuner goes up and down the band in tenths (1490-1500). could not get rid of the bleed from some other stations no matterwhere I moved the ant or went up and down the tuner. So we said we could listen to our small portable maybe, it doesn't need an external ant. Next the clock, easy enough to set but to see the time you have to use the remote and turn the unit on and press clock just to see the time. What do the words clock radio does Memorix not understand. The TV/DVD player great. I mounted our old clock radio with a clock display 24/7 along side the Memorix. Ok I could have sent it back at cost to me or maybe even taken it back to a store (50 miles) for god knows what kind of hassle, but then we figured at least we have a TV and the rest of it is what you pay for.. My daughters brand new dvd movie is stuck in the player. It will not open. The unit will turn on, but can't turn it off, no radio, can not connect to cable. Worst product ever made by memorex!!! I still cannot get troubleshooting on their website. I am very unhappy with this item. I wished we read the reviews before purchasing. Live and learn!!!

We were happy with it, sound was good, picture is good, fit well under the cabinet although I had to get pick up longer mounting hardware - not made for cabinets with 1.5 underhang. BUT after 2 days it would no longer power up. Some light come on and a clunking sound occurs repeatedly. Returned it to the store to no issues at all. So we're trying again. Fingers crossed.

I had a similiar product at my old house and wanted the FM,CD,TV undercounter in the kitchen again. I tried to save a little money and bought a refurbished product. I installed the unit and ran cable for the TV. Problem is the TV does not work properly. I thought it was the coaxle cable, so I ran another line. Same problem. I went out and bought a 18.5" LCD TV and what do you know, it works great!

sending that one it is replacing back to the factory which is actually pretty cool since it is way past warranty. We shall see if I ever get it repaired or replaced. Worked fina for about 13 months then unexplainably had this error message that wouldn't go away and nobody could fix. Still the best unit for the price.

The TV was OK but the FM and AM receivers had the reception of a crystal radio! Terrible!!! And then, it completely failed. If it had worked, I would have kept it but this company they use to refurbish equipment is terrible. I called to get an RMA and you cannot even speak to a person. They just don't take calls. You have leave the information on an answering machine. I decided I was headed down a path of dissatisfaction and brought it back. The good news is that you can just drop your web-purchase returns at any Best Buy. I did and it was hassle-free. Conclusion: I will never buy a refurbished product from Best Buy but I will continue to purchase normal product from them because of their hassle-free attitude.

Really like the idea of all in one player. Use in kitchen to play CD's, DVD, can listen to favorite radio station (reception not the greates though) and has capability for tv. However, was very dissapointment you cannot just plug cable wire into player and watch tv. Did not know this when purchased and does not tell you this in directions. Even cable technician could not figure it out. Had to go online and find answer to question; need box or antenna to get tv reception. With that said, you would also need a place for the box, which does not usully fit under the counter. All in all, it was a good buy, but may not have made purchase if I had known about the cable hook up first.

The radio is NO GOOD, and the TV would not work. Hope they refund it!

Great DVD player but only received 1 station for TV as compared with a different tv/dvd combo which received 7 stations.

This TV cannot be connected to cable. You can only use it with an antennae/DTV to get local channels.

I think it was 1989 the last time I came across a TV that was not cable-ready, but this one somehow isn't. It plays DVDs, it gets over-the-air DTV signal, but it DOESN'T WORK WITH CABLE. You can hook your cable box to it, but that sort of defeats the space-saving purpose of an under-the-counter TV, doesn't it? I returned it and purchased a Coby instead.

I guess I should have researched it more. My goal was to be able to watch TV inmy kitchen however I was shocked to find out that you can't connect your cable TV directly to this TV. I don't get it. It makes no sense to me.

This under the counter TV can not be hooked to cable unless you use a cable box, which defeats the puropse of the under the counter concept. Dvd gives great quality picture and sound.

I have enjoyed my set for three weeks.Have very few complaints until today.We tried to turn it on this morning and had nothing.According to the warranty we have to call a center in Cal. and get a return authorization number in order to send it in.Hope they will replace it.

The first one I got in did not work at all. 1 week later I got another one in and It worked for about 2 weeks and than crapped out. Epic fail!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is nice TV and plays dvd's well, however you can only watch with a digital cable box or vcr. Which is not defeats the purpose of having it mounted under the cabinet.

There is four screws to hold the unit under a cabinet. One of of the holes is striped and will not take a screw. Three do work. Three holds it but it would of been nice if all four worked.

Was a little skeptical on ordering a refurb, but the product is great. Easy to install and easy to set-up. Have a dish that has s-video running to the TV and used the component to run to this through the wall, absolutely wonderful picture and good sound. Radio works good and the dvd player is great to. Really just use it for the TV aspect in the kitchen, while cooking or gathered in for dinner or family sitting at table talking. GREAT PRODUCT!!

spent $172 for purchase and delivery 1/10. It died today 3/28/10. Only a blue light glows and nothing else. I hooked mine up to the digital rabbit ears to get local digital stations and used the DVD and CD player / radio as well. It sounded pretty good and video quality was fine. I just can't believe it died so quickly. I guess I should have heeded all the bad reviews. Don't waste your money.

Could not get a signal for either TV or DVD player. Will be returning the item.
