The memory installation was quick and painless and it works like a charm

I went to have some memory installed in my new laptop. They were able to do it while I was browsing. Took no longer than 20 minutes. Once installed they visually confirmed the memory installation, and asked if it was to my satisfaction. Great job Geek Squad!

They did a good job installing my hardware updates. However, I had a few issues with customer service. When I dropped off my computer I paid in advance for the wrong ram. I told the counter person that I thought it was the wrong ram but he felt he knew more than me. I even read the specs on the factory box to him? A few hours later I had brief phone conversation about the wrong ram with a service person. I agreed to order the correct ram from another online retailer and deliver it. When I went to deliver the ram I had to wait in a long line. In other words a prepaid customer that was sold the wrong ram had to wait in line to deliver the correct ram.

I ordered a very expensive Dell XPS 9510 Laptop but wanted to upgrade my memory from 16 GB to 32 GB. I did not want to take any chances and decided to engage the Geek Squad to change out the memory. They did a good job and my Laptop works perfect.

My laptop was running slow and I kept getting low memory warnings from my System Mechanic program. My email was slow to load and would freeze on occasion. My Acer E 15 had 4gb ram so I got an 8gb chip that Geek Squad installed for me. With 12 gb my system runs very well with no slowness or hesitation. Thanks Geek Squad!

The agents installed my new memory in my computer and removed a CD that I had accidentally gotten in there too.

It's worth the yearly subscription fee. The service could be more thoroughro and setting up appoints via their website is a bit cumbersome.
