    I have been listening to Boz Scaggs since 1970 and I love the "Memphis" cd.

    Boz Scaggs is still at the peak of his career. He still has the chops. Maybe I'm not super happy with this album because it's too.... Memphis. I'd still say it's a good Boz repertoire.

    Taken on its own, this is a gorgeous more easy listening than pop, rock or R&B collection. That is not bad. I have seen Boz once, about 2 years ago, and this is a great representation of his current sound. Now, if you are not familiar with Boz Scaggs' last few albums, be advised there is no "Lido" here, and honestly it would not fit in comfortably with this collection. So put this CD on to "make out" and not "jump!"

    I saw Boz in concert featuring his new music and liked his new sound.. Took a little time getting used to his new style but i am enjoying his uplifing sound/

    I am so glad Boz Scaggs has put out a new CD. Memphis has reminded me why I started collecting Boz's music a long time ago.
