    Now that Little Steven has re-formed the Disciples of Soul, it's a great opportunity to revisit his two 80's releases. Steven's voice is the weakest link here, especially when hearing how it has matured as on his recent Soul Fire. Nits aside the songs here are great and delivered with passion and conviction. And who can argue with the 2 full- length CDs for the price of one?

    More labels should create these two-fers. There's alot of great tunes on these 80 minutes, especially on Men Without Women. Besides being a great deal, this CD is a good way to catch up with Steven now that the Disciples of Soul are back up and recording & touring.
