Bought for my son for Christmas. He loves it. Very sturdy for kids to use.

The children, young and old, all had a great time using these VR goggles.

My son said they worked well. But made him nauseas after extended use. Sadly had to be returned.

Positives: The goggles were easy to set up and use and were comfortable without glasses and after some adjustment. I'm a big guy and these required me to let the straps out quite a bit. The adjustments were easy, and the side slots for earphone jack and power were well located and my Pixel fit nicely in the goggles. There seem to be quite a range of apps out there and plenty of free VR content so you should be able to to get many hours of enjoyment out of these. Negatives: With that said, I am a large adult male and have glasses with fairly wide frames and, even though the goggles are "glasses friendly" they didn't fit well over mine at all; I mean it was annoying even with a looser adjustment and my lenses were right up against the goggle lenses. After an hour or so of use, my neck was aching from trying to hold my head at an angle to relieve the pressure from my eye glasses pressing into my face, this also made looking around the VR world a bit cumbersome. If you have small framed glasses or don't have glasses, then these issues may not apply to you. My wife tried these on and used them and they fit her better, she has contacts, and were more comfortable over all during use. I suspect that these would work best for smaller adults or children. NOTE: My phone got very very hot after the hour or so it was in the goggles, and for some reason, the battery charge dropped from full to 19% during the hour - I suspect this is a combination of the amount of work the phone went through to run the apps, but more likely due to the materials (foam like) that are used in the goggle construction. When I stream movies, the battery hasn't been an issue, so I'm thinking it has to do with the app(s). All things considered, I think if you are using without glasses and for less than an hour or so, you should be comfortable and your phone should still have a decent charge on it. I'd recommend them, they just aren't something I see myself using much - not the items fault.

This product is not bad at all. If I had to coin it with one term it would be “Entry level”. The device does not come with a whole lot in the box other than the unit itself, some instructions and a cleaning cloth. The unit itself is well built. It advertises “marshmallow soft” and I would say this claim is true. The surfaces that touch your skin are extremely soft indeed. The controls are relatively simple, the top and bottom have “buttons” that can be used to adjust the lenses to your eye positioning. The top knobs are also action buttons you can use for games or interacting with your VR apps. It fit my iPhone 8 perfectly and there is no real tray to insert it into like other VR devices, just a extremely soft slot on the top you will slide your phone into. There is a cover on the front cover of the device to allow the camera to look out for AR apps. I recommend keeping it closed if you are working with a VR app to reduce light from coming in. The head straps work well to keep in on your head and fit my huge head just fine. The box recommends you obtain your apps from the website they manage. It is a good showcase website and will provide you links to apps in the Google Play store or the Apple App store. The problem I found here is that you click on the link and it often sends you to an app that might not be compatible with your device or that costs money. This would be nice to have explained on the website since it adds wasted time. I had lots of good luck using it with Youtube and Google Cardboard app. The VR effect is similar to other entry level devices but adds the higher quality lenses, adjustability and comfort. I would recommend this device primarily for children or for dabbling into basic VR/AR apps and videos. If you are expecting a groundbreaking VR experience, it is not in that class. Just make sure to look for VR/AR apps from other sources since you will find a good variety out there.

oh how fun, how can we ever do without VR in our life

My husband got me this as a Christmas gift, but we returned it because it did not meet our expectations. The pixels were too large and there wasn't enough adjustment available to properly focus the image, which was crystal clear on my phone, just not inside the device. Needless to say, we were very disappointed in this product.
