Storyline very thin. Cheesy!

The acting leads are good. I had hoped for a more substantial plot and a few surprises. All in all a two star effort. Actors deserved better.

My wife and I just watched this, and to be honest, the only reason we watched it all the way through to the end is because we thought it was going to tie in with the first one, somehow. It didn't! In fact, aside from the same house and corn field, this has nothing to do with the first one. It should've just been called The Scarecrow. OK, let's say it was. It still doesn't make any sense. There's character's that just pop in and out of the film and are never explained. The plot doesn't make sense. The acting was poor, especially the guys wife (she was a moron). There were also several movie flaws, including the casting. The farmer John Rollins' daughter is practically the same age as he is. I could go on. Needless to say, this reminded me of The Cell 2. A poorly made sequel that had nothing to do with the first one!

I think this is a better movie than Messengers. I do like the way they played it out and brought some scariness to it and some psychological terror to the whole movie

I enjoyed Norman Reedus' acting and overall presence in the movie. He is a very dynamic actor.

This movie should've been called The Scarecrow, not Messengers 2! Aside, from the same piece of land this doesn't in any way tie in with the first one. Oh, sorry, there were some crows. This was a poor attempt at a sequel. Skip it!
