Regular adult use the band cracked in 2 places. Pretty expensive item to just be breaking so easy like that with no drops

Bestbuy was great with the order and shipping. The product is absolutely trash. Extensive reported failures of this headband requiring RMA for replacement. The problem... The plastic does not have the strength to maintain its integrity and fails really quickly. I Had this part for less than 90 days before it failed and had to be warranty replaced. I also have the elite version with the battery built in and it has failed also due to the same issue.

Fit well and I liked it... until the strap busted. Actual use time was less than 20 hours.

I bought this at the end of January (after the recall and remake of the first edition of these). I've had it for less than 2 months and it started to crack. I am a sole user and I use the headset very mildly. The arm of the strap essentially just cracked on its own because it is made with cheap/defective material. You have been warned.

Oculus elite strap is not much better than the strap the quest 2 comes with. I've had it for only 2 months and it broke. I wish I had read the reviews before I purchased. Many others have same complaint. With so many complaints, this is definitely a defective item. Hopefully Best Buy will accept the return and get a credit from oculus. If enough people do this, oculus will Hopefully produce a product that isn't made so cheaply

After 5 months of use the strap is starting to crack. Not impressed for the price.

Excited for this strap but was disappointing due to quality. I've used this especially for VR workouts where you need to ensure it was tight enough. But both plastic sides were beginning to crack, not just one crack but multiple ones. I wish they could have reinforced that material as that is where the stress is holding the VR itself. See images I have uploaded, I used super glue but more cracks were occuring.

Faulty product, dont buy. the elite strap is a cheap plastic headstrap made by a large corporation, shortly after using it if any stress is applied (such as figiting with it or moving around) it will start to crack. picked up my headset this morning to find the back to be broken.

Don't buy this. I purchased this October 27th, it broke November 19th, less than a month later. I took very delicate care of it, the strap couldn't handle me taking it on and off and eventually broke.

Awful. I’ve used it very gently maybe 5-10 times in the few months I’ve owned it. I went to use it after not having used it in a long time, and the strap was cracked entirely on one side. The other side has multiple cracks on the other side ready to break at the slightest touch.

If the elite strap would not break this would be a 5 star product. the original one I purchased broke within 3 months of lite use. received new one and the new one broke after about 10 total uses in 1 year.

My daughter and I each bought one of these for our oculus quest 2's. Within a 12 hour period BOTH of ours broke in the same exact spot. You can see cracks in the plastic hard pieces that snap into the headset. This is NOT ok on a $50 item to last not even 3 weeks.

Please buy any other strap. This one is notoriously known for breaking and replacement straps break as well. Mine broke after barely 80 hours of use. FB/Oculus appear to be aware of it but are have yet to implement any design change in response.

only lasted a week before cracking. The plastic is thin a brittle. This was a complete waste of money. The opposite side will probably go the same route since it already has a crack.

Plastic on left side broke today after after 6 months of very light duty use (1-3 times per week, less than 1 hr per session). I should have heeded the warnings I read about other users encountering similar failure.

I don’t know if mine is just a product defect or what really happened but few weeks after I bought my I was putting it on and it broke. I have been so mad that I haven’t even contacted anyone yet. I have photos below.

Purchased for Christmas. Broken by the beginning of February. The cheap plastic band snapped while tightening on my daughter's head. Save your money. Do NOT buy.

It cracked on both sides after 20 days of use. I checked YouTube videos on this product and numerous reviewers state their is a quality issue and they are known to snap on the sides... dry disappointing...

Broke in less than a week--while my son was wearing it! We'll see what they do in terms of warranty. I will be ticked if I have to pay a dime (even shipping) for something that worked less than a week.

Do not buy! Broke in about two months. Purchased two more one as a gift, one broke about three months later and the third one finally broke less than a year later. Very poor product
