Coming from the oculus rift, PCVR. This is one of the best upgrades ever!! I love I don’t have any wires and especially think the mixed reality is worth everything. The head strap and facial interface are a little uncomfortable so plan on replacing those and controller grips so you can free up your hands are super usefull too. Lots of really fun free games like Hyper Dash. Bowling and playing rhythm games are a good time. Lots of people active so you will find nice friends. Really nice and supportive community

I was hesitant to spend $700 on another headset considering I only had my Quest 2 for 2 years but I took a chance. Every problem I faced with the Quest 2 has been solved with this model. The Quest 3 doesn’t feel like looking through binoculars, it’s SUPER clear, watching videos doesn’t feel like an issue anymore (for those who enjoy stresming on the Quest), there is no more need to adjust the headset constantly to find a “sweet spot” because the lenses don’t distort, the weight distribution is far better and it does NOT HURT your head or feel too heavy. It is very quick, no more lag going menu to menu to app. Mixed reality is actually very interesting, no more taking off the headset to check your phone or being interrupted by others in your household. Double tap the side and boom, back in your own reality. One con I had was with my first device the lenses looked dirty, there were dead pixels, the eye distance wheel didnt want to turn and the remote was messed up (straight out of the box) so PLEASE when you get the device, look at a gray/light blue screen from youtube and check for dead pixels. You will see it. Other than that the new unit is great.

This is the first VR experience I have had in a while now. First time I tried VR was when you had to use your phone as the display. This is so much better. Setting it up is quite easy and I like that it comes with physical controllers unlike the Apple device. Just my preference. Inside the box: The VR headset Two controller devices with one Double A battery included for each USB C the C cable and power adapter to charge it This is the one with 512GB of storage I'll start with cons because it's not much. It has plenty of apps it seems but missing apps I would like to use like Netflix, Disney Plus, Hulu and etc. it does have a YouTube App and I can watch my purchased movies through it so not totally a loss. While other apps i don't know much about and I'll have to see I mostly wanted to try this out for watching movies and just enjoying content. There is games though and you get the Batman game which is nice. Takes a bit to get used to but once you do I had fun with the game. It's definitely different than playing like a PC or console.

Guaranteed fun. And I'll even go further: you can exercise by doing gym workouts and boxing in the game.

Very fun. It is mostly easy to use. i had to look online on for information. Overall i am very happy with my purchase. Its not too heavy. The advice i would get new buyers is: the meta button on the right controller takes you to the main menu and buy a longer cord. If you play too long the headset may die in your session and the cord it comes with is very short .

I had the Quest 2 and the Quest 3 is definitely worth the cost. From ease of use, intuitive interactions, graphics and mixed reality. I love it. Buying more for my friends.

This Meta Quest 3 is my first VR headset that didn’t require being tethered to a game console. VERY impressed! I can see so many possibilities for this headset. Packaging was well thought out and intuitive. Setup along with my iPhone and the Meta Horizon app was a piece of cake as well. I found some short videos online that were helpful for getting oriented with the controllers and the headset buttons and adjustments to get a good fit. The included Batman Arkham game is pretty good (both of my young adult-kids like it as well). Downloaded a casino game (took a little learning, but easy then) and a really neat version of Tetris. My favorite so far is Xtadium in which I watched portions of a couple NBA games and a college football game on Fox. VERY cool experience (like you are there) and I can see this growing like mad across various sports the next few years. From a fit and feel, it’s not too bad at all. I didn’t think the headset was very heavy and after some adjustments to the straps, it feels fine. Very accurate I think with respect to motion and control. I didn’t think I would like this thing as much as I do. Definitely recommend and I think a pretty good value for what you get!

Cool and immersive. The worlds take you away and every experience its different. Definitely a must have if your looking to get in the VR world. The mixed reality is very trippy and cool.

68 years old and bought it for grand daughter. I tried it once and now her and I compete for playing time.

I got this for my son and he loves it. He uses it several times per week.

This is a big improvement over the Quest 2. The pass-through cameras have a much sharper picture than the Quest 2 and it is in color, as well. The downside is that after a while, it becomes a little uncomfortable due to the weight of the device. I also think the battery life could be a little better, also. Still, I am overall very happy with my Quest 3

Graphics are excellent and sound quality is very good, It is a huge step up and the mixed reality is fantastic.

Great product and it could link up to your PC wirelessly to play games you download. I had the rift S before and the gui and graphics are way better. You gotta buy the virtual desktop app in order for this to work.

Upgraded to this version because I wanted the visual quality to be better. Worth the extra money for sure.

Bought this item as a late Christmas present for my son. He had the original oculus and was insistent on getting this. He has not stopped playing it daily, since it was purchased. Great product for the price. Especially since it is only a fraction of the cost of other virtual reality devices. The only recommendation I would have is that upon being fully charged, there was technology to stop it from overcharging.

I've been into VR since the cardboard. I tried the ones you cram your smartphone into and those that connect to your PC. None of them impressed me or made me think this was anything more than a fad. Finally those days are over. The Meta Quest 3 has finally brought quality VR and MR to the masses at a reasonable price. Sure, 500 bucks might not be reasonable for everyone but now that VR is mainstream the prices will eventually come down even further (see Quest 3s). This device has me rethinking my entertainment options. Last night I watch a full length 4k movie in VR on a 100 inch screen in a dreamscape media room and it looked and sounded amazing! This takes private viewing to a whole new level. Get one and see for yourself!
