I enjoyed the experience with this headset. The game selection isnthe best you will find in a standalone headset. I disliked the Meta account requirement and the poor display resolution. All things considered, this headset is amazing value, especially if you can get it on sale.

After an update meta link stopped working entirely so can no longer connect to my pc. Battery is pretty bad cant even get over 30 mins. Headset has constant bugs especially with the windows popping up in the ground. Would have been fine as a headset to use for pc vr but it cant even do that. Best buy is not refunding me my full money for it either despite having the original packaging and being in good condition.

The screen seems to go blurry as you move your head. You have to recenter the screen constantly. And the lenses adjust but not enough to make up for the fact that letters get blurry. It’s also rather warm looking into this for a long time.

I've had this headset for over a month now and honestly not bad at the start, you could play some decent games from the store and use the built-in internet browser to watch movies and stuff. But I will say expect to get bored after a while, like it's really cool to have but in terms of long-term use ehhh I'm contemplating it. And people aren't wrong about the default headstrap it really doesn't help some mini sessions with this thing cause it pushes itself into my face making me uncomfortable, plus headaches after an hour of use. VR isn't for everyone I'd say, but for me I've just been using it to watch movies, tv shows, and vrchat occassionally. I'd say it's great to try out to see if it's worth it and if ya don't see long-term use for it go ahead and return it.
