Load times are short, tracking is incredibly accurate, and the visuals are crisp and vibrant without feeling over-processed. What really surprised me is how comfortable and accessible the Quest 3S is. The headset is lightweight, well-balanced, and comfortable even during longer sessions. The controllers feel natural in your hands, and the intuitive interface makes it easy for both newcomers and experienced VR users to jump in without frustration. The 128GB storage option is a perfect balance — plenty of space for a solid library of games and apps without paying extra for storage you may not need. I’ve been using the Quest 2 for a couple of years now and was debating whether to drop $500 on the Quest 3 or just wait. When the 3S came out at $249, I finally pulled the trigger. Honestly, I’m glad I saved the money, though there are definitely some tradeoffs. The performance jump is the first thing you notice. The menus are snappier, and games like Batman: Arkham Shadow (which came free with it!) look way better and load faster than anything on my Q2. The mixed reality (color passthrough) is the biggest game changer, though. It isn't "real life" perfect—it’s still a bit grainy, especially if your room isn't super bright—but being able to walk to the fridge or check a text without taking the headset off is huge. The lenses are the main compromise here. If you’re coming from a Quest 2, they look identical (Fresnel), so you still have those subtle "god-rays" and a smaller sweet spot compared to the pancake lenses everyone raves about on the regular Quest 3. I tried my friend's Quest 3 once, and yeah, that edge-to-edge clarity is nicer, but is it worth an extra $200? For me, no. Once you're actually playing a game, you stop noticing the edges anyway. Comfort is... okay. It feels slightly bulkier on the front than I expected, and the stock strap is still pretty terrible. Do yourself a favor and use the money you saved to buy a third-party strap immediately. Bottom line: If you have a Quest 2 and want mixed reality and better graphics without emptying your wallet, this is it. If you have an unlimited budget, get the regular Quest 3, but for $249 this thing is a steal.

The Quest 3S delivers an impressive mixed reality experience with sharp visuals and smooth performance. Setup was easy, and the included 3-month Horizon+ trial is a nice bonus. The headset is comfortable for shorter sessions, but it can feel a bit heavy over time. Overall, a great value for the price.

Works good definitely an upgrade from the rift s air link still sucks but with a cable it works great wish the face pad was comfortable

I purchased the meta quest 3s to play Golf+ with friends and it was a great decision to do so. The meta quest 3s gives you a ton of different gaming options, the ability to be productive with certain applications and and overall great experience when streaming movies/shows/sports events! Overall, I am very happy with the meta quest and would 10/10 recommend to anyone who is interested in purchasing. The only con I would give it is the battery life, however, there are cheap extra battery alternatives online to help improve the gaming experience.

Bought this for my 10 year old birthday to up grade his original Quest. The graphics are much better than the original quest and he uses all the time. Controls are smaller so easier to hold and move around.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for the kids and we all love it. It’s like putting on glasses to another world and playing games as if you’re actually in the game! No problems so far, we’re still learning how to use it. Overall I would rate this 9/10. The only concern is leaving them on too long you start to feel a little lightheaded. Other than that, great experience!

I absolutely love the meta 3s it is the perfect Virtual Reality headset for people enteri g VR or woth experience it is very affordable and has superb features it is also one of the best headsets you can get currently. BestBuy was very good sith fast delivery and great perks I definitetly reccomend buying this headset and if you do BestBuy is the place to buy it.

I bought this for my honey. He is absolutely in love his Oculus 3 with all the new features and he has a lot of fun throughout all the new be games available. It’s very comfortable to use. The hands free option is a lot more versatile. I can’t seem to keep him off the thing so it’s safe to say it is an experience you can’t get enough off.

I recently bought this virtual reality headset for my son and honestly we’re both really happy with it. Everything was well packaged and instructions were clear so setting it up was quick and easy. Really great got this for Christmas gift and haven’t stopped playing VR games and other virtual stuff. Then your models are a bit better than the other ones just wish a bit of the battery life could last a bit, but they are so accessories for that other than that I really like the new VR

Very good performance for your money. Great game Library. I don’t think I will ever play flatscreen games again. I do recommend buying the kiwi boost strap because the stock strap doesn’t have great front face support. Dose take a while to learn the ui for someone who has never played vr

In terms of affordability and quality there isn't a comparable headset on the market that can compete. The ability to freely move around non tethered increases comfortablility and adds a noticed weight reduction. The comfortablility honestly make it worth taking a break every few hours. Note: can be played with plugged in I just don't.

It's super comfortable and the graphics are great. Head straps are made better than the Quest 2 and the controllers are less bulky. I recommend getting the elite strap with battery and some controller grips (I prefer Kiwi brand.) I think the 3S is a great value and I am super happy with it as of now.

The Meta Quest 3s is really fun to play with, I’m able to connect with friends and family across the United States. It really helps me be able to stay connected because I just moved up to Georgia and have no one to hang out with for the moment. It’s all really good to watch movies and do fitness games in it too!

The oculus 3s is such a good device to play on really fast tracking and super fast downloading or updating it has multiple games and you meet a lot of cool people on here I love oculus because how kind everyone is and how great everything is

Fantastic starter headset and great value for the price. Even if you're not a gamer, it's still perfect for watching TV shows and movies while feeling like you're in a theater no matter where you are. Super easy setup, great visual and sound quality. For only $250 it's a great starter VR headset.
