Minus one star for price as it's an expensive one. But in this cable's defense it 100% works for what it's supposed to do. You can get cheaper 3rd party cables but they may or may not work to charge while you are playing. It's 80$ but considering the headset is 299$ I think it's worth it to have something that works properly every time. Also, the Oculus link is really a great feature and this cable does it justice with speedy data transfer rates. I played through Halflife: Alyx on the Quest 2 using this cable and it was perfect.

I originally bought the insignia brand oculus cable and had a good experience until anout 3 weeks ago when the headset stopped connecting to the link software on my pc. I ourchased this cable thinking the insignia was the issue, butbut was not. This cable is lighter and has a velcro piece to connect it to the headset but i can not say that its worth $30 more. Everyone camplains about $79 for this cable and ut is tough to swallow, but ut would be fine it everything worked. After 3 weeks of emails with Meta- you cant call, they still have not corrected my issue. I use the virtual desktop app to connect wirelessly and the graphics are better. I didn’t think that a wireless connection could beat a wired connection made by Meta for the headeet but it is much better. I use this headeet and PC only for sim racing and it dosconnecting mid race was extremely frustrating. Again, my issue is not the cable, butbi am complaining about Meta’s support. Want toadd that i reset my PC to factory and reloaded all apps and still had the disconnected issue. Meta cant fix it.

There is not much to say about this. It is needed to play some games from the PC in VR. I tried other bargain brand versions and they had problems. I don't know why this has to be so expensive but it works. It would also be nice if they made it with a USB 3.0 end for PCs without USB C ports.

An excellent addition to your Quest/MetaQuest headset (sold separately) giving to the capability to connect to your compatible PC. You are able to explore a wider array of games and activities. It also doubles as a charger. The only downside is the price, but other than that I recommend it to those wanting a more high quality experience with VR

The price is a little high however it is worth it in my opinion especially if you purchased while they were including the excellent Asgard's Wrath with it. I have it connected to a PC that has an RTX 3080 and being able to play a game like Half Life: Alyx and Asgard's Wrath at highest resolution at 90 FPS is very nice. The cable length is very nice as well and it feels solidly constructed. I even went back and played Lone Echo as that is such a fantastic game and the last time I played it was on the original Rift and I wanted to see it with the better resolution.
I did try virtual desktop and even though that works very well you still get slight skipping and pausing and a slight lag. You get none of that with the Link cable.
Overall I recommend this purchase if you have the PC capable of using it properly.

So far the cable has worked well. I am impressed with the quality of the material. The plastic is so smooth that it has a very premium feeling to it. I have not used it too much yet, but within the first month. I have nothing but positive experiences with it. I even kept the box that it is packaged in - it's so nice for little things. My only problem is that it is a bit too expensive - I hope that it lasts very long...

A must have item for meta development. Or for playing hi-end games like Half-Life ALYX if Air-link is not supported. Only cable for hi-speed data transfer, No true alternate option available. But still feel overpriced.

It is a high quality cable that performs as expected. Paired with my gaming PC, it made my Oculus Quest 2 even better. While it is pricey, the bandwidth in this cable is insane, which is needed to process demanding games on your headset.

Very great product, price could be better. Yes it’s cheaper to get off-brand options that handle VERY well and sometimes better, but with the vast number of options you can never tell which one really is better. With the Meta brand cable you can guarantee it will be the best every time, no this isn’t sponsored.
