It works fine for that and supports the computer without sagging at all. Also, the little holes in the surface probably help diffuse the heat. All in all it's an attractive and practical product.

This stand boosts my monitor just high enough for me to view the screen without the neck strain I had before. Now I just need a gaming chair!

I purchased this to place my 32inch Samsung Smart TV on with my Bose Soundbar underneath. It worked like a charm. It can handle the weight and my soundbar is underneath and out of the way.

I ended up giving this away after using it for more than a year. I needed one that would stand up higher or be a little more adjustable. This one is one size fits all. Not bad, and I like how you can use the bottom area for storage of notes or other desk items.

Posted .Hi laptopcustomer, the stand is for the monitor to be raised higher for better ergonomics. So you should be able to keep your keyboard at your desk at a comfortable height for typing, you should not have to raise your wrists high, unless you changed the height of your desk.
