This is a great game all around. Although the learning curve can be steep. There is no real tutorial and most moves you upgrade just give you a brief rundown on what it does. Those are really my only complaints and it is nice to play a metal gear game where I don't spend over half the game hiding!

The storyline is really cool and all of the action between characters is sometimes very realistic. The creators of this game are very imaginative with all of the weapons and futuristic themes at times , the cut mechanic is really cool and easy to use. Raiden is so cool all the things he can do in his cyborg body, my friends and I can play for hours and there is constant excitement and anticipation.

my nephew has been playing it a lot since i got it for him, he really likes playing it

Platinum Games does it again and does it best. Those expecting a traditional MGS game might be disappointed, but everyone else is in for one of the best action games in the genre.

As a spin-off game from the Metal Gear series this is a good entry, but I would have much rather seen the game featuring The Boss and her Cobras that was scrapped awhile back. Here the story centers around Raiden... featuring his signature swordplay fighting from Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. The developer pulled this off nicely with the exception of a quirky camera that presents some problems during the action, and some of the boss battles. The camera angle doesn't track too well with the action onscreen which may hinder the gameplay for some players. Other than that, the game is very fun to play... at least until you get to the final boss, and that's all I will say about that.

Fast paced non stop action with some stealth thrown in a change from the metal gear series graphics are great although camera can act up from time to time but great action game with decent story

Nice side story of raiden. Action is good game is not too long but long enough for several play through a for extra unlockables, for xbox free dlc of jetstream Sam and the dog bot

The game play is great in this game. The game mechanics are very smooth. I loved playing as Raiden. The game isn't super long but it's still very fun. Getting the best rank in each level can be very challenging but brings added replay value to the game. Overall the story is goo and this is a solid game.

This is a game best suited for single player experience.

I loved Metal Gear Rising's break from the stealth requirements the rest of the series is known for. Just getting out there and kicking some bad guy tail while not being a brainless button masher feels pretty good. 2 thumbs up.

This game is pretty good. Mostly resembles a Ninja Gaiden, hack and slash, type of video game instead of the usual stealthy Metal Gear Solid. It is fun nonetheless.

This game is nothing like the other games in the series! That being said it is still worth the $10 I paid for it on black Friday...

Of all the metal gear games going all the way back to SNES this is the best so far.

This game is amazing and I absolutely love it's combat. Even though there were somethings I wish i could do I would totally recommend it to anyone else who is looking to buy a fast combat game
