This game is great however the graphics are slightly better on the new platforms. If you cannot afford the new gen system, this will run and play just fine. Enjoy!

Even on the PS3, this is one of the most beautiful games I have had the pleasure of playing. The quintessential Metal Gear and an appropriate end to the series.

As always, Kojima creates another fantastic Metal Gear game to add to the franchise. I love the new mechanics they added to it. I would recommend this game.

This game is great. Every Metal Gear Solid game offers something new, and packs some mind twisting storylines that has fans playing for hours and The Phantom Pain is no different. No longer will you spend hours listening to your codec. It's all done through a radio that is integrated into regular play. The stories experience has a very different feel to it when being compared to the other Metal Gear games, as well as the game play. Everything has been brought up to par with new game standards.

We bought this for my son, who says: Everything about this game is good except the story. The game play is the best in the series. Its longer than the previous games. But the story left me with a....Phantom pain.

I've played all of the MGS games.The definitive edition for the ps4 is the best version for your buck but i got this one and Ground Zeroes for the ps3 practically for free so I'm not complaining.

I was a big fan of Metal Gear Solid especially Sons of Liberty. However, I haven't kept up and this game was a great way to get back into it. I'm actually considering getting everything else that came before.

This is an open-world stealth action game with fantastic gameplay, great graphics, and one of the most obtusely stupid and unfinished stories you will ever see. If you're a Metal Gear fan, you may hate it.

Phantom Pain is a fitting end to the Kojima series. Great graphics and gameplay that you come to know and love.
