Excellent DVD...would recommend to any Metallica fan.

This is by far the best movie I've seen in my life.

I was reluctant on paying 30 clams on this and frankly it is over priced.The 3D is alright, the concert is pretty cool, but as I watched I thought I could've saved 15 bucks and just bought the Bluray. Plus this only comes with 3D. Like I said the concert is great, along with the visuals not quite sure were the story goes, maybe that could've been omitted and just the concert.

Amazing performance by Metallica with a setlist filled with classic songs. The band is tight and on form. The vocals were probably dubbed in later which makes it a little better than some of the other recent live stuff. The plot gets in the way of the performance and is ridiculous. I refused to see it in the theater but would recommend the blu ray picture is perfect. It is high quality. I have listen to Metallica for 30 years and this is worth it if you are a fan and not a hater. I highly recommend this to anyone from some one just being introduced or a long time fan

Not what I expected. The music of Metallica is always great, the rest of it was weird and a waste of time. It was expensive and the 3D version only works on 3D devices, no 2D copy. Look for it when it's on sale if you really want it.

A cool live video with a storyline plot. Recommended for serious Metallica fans.

No joke this is one of the best concerts I have ever seen, recorded or live! Saw this in IMAX 3-D and it was absolutely incredible. Guaranteed that you have never seen a stage performance like this. To put this whole movie together, they spent over $30 million dollars, and it shows! There's a minor plot in the movie involving a roadie, but the story doesn't make much sense and just serves as a visual aid, nothing more. That shouldn't matter as the music is top notch. I don't have a 3-D TV, but this concert is best seen in 3-D as you feel like you are actually on stage with the band. Absolutely necessary for anyone that calls themselves a Metallica fan.

My husband & I saw this movie in the theater & it was truly amazing - musically & artistically. I knew we would purchase this for our music DVD collection. he movie has portions which are animated & a sweet story line, mixed with insane live Metallica performances. Through the Never is a super creative & well done movie!!! I give it a 5-star rating! Not to mention Best Buy's super cheap price,
