If you are into Metallica in concert than this is perfect for you. If you are looking for a story or a movie than this definitely not it.

This was the a very unique concert DVD, the first of its kind and it rocked! Obviously the blu ray makes for a great picture as well and it'll make u feel like you're really there. There is also another story going on behind the concert and it is actually very interesting. I am 100% satisfied with this blu ray and I recommend it to anybody who loves concert DVDs like I do.

The 3-D aspect was great, the story line and concert could have been better and included more songs.

Metallica will always be one of my favorite bands of all time and you need to look no further than this interesting take on a concert DVD to see why. Amazing sound, cool story, and spectacular visuals combine to make this my favorite Metallica concert DVD since Cunning Stunts. I haven't checked out the extras yet, but I definitely intend to.

Great Metallica concert footage to go along with superb audio. My neighbors remember I'm a Mtallica fan again. Not one spec of dust left on my speakers. It was lots of fun and well worth the money. Watched it three times already but I'm a lifelong fan. Visually frenetic. Sonically deafening in a great metal way. A must for Metallica fans.

I have been a long time Metallica fan. My son came home from college and we saw the 3D movie in the theatre with a lot of diehard fans. The experience was not just the movie but you felt like you were actually at a live Metallica concert. It was a must buy and I have both 3D and regular Blu-Ray. Long live metalheads and Metallica.

This is absolutely the best movie by a band ever. The extra story line is decent, but the quality of the actual concert is what make this movie great. Metallica sounds absolutly great. If you even remotely like Metallica, you must see this movie!

Metallica!! If you're a fan of the greatest heavy metal band in the world AND you like great movies, then buckle up!! This has never been done before - Create an epic movie and wrap it around a screaming, fast paced, no holds barred metal concert! Phenomenal!

I’ve listened to Metallica since the mid 80’s, and seen them live in concert. This movie is fun to watch. Great special effects during the show and interesting story following a roadie on his quest to retrieve a travel bag from a broken down truck.

I wish it was played in a theatre nearby but, it was worth the wait. Recommend a good surround sound and crank it up while watching. Great camera angles and concert coverage with a decent mix of a movie thrown in. If thou don't understand the plot you can watch the extras and they explain the plot.

You have to see this on Blu-Ray or in 3D if you're a music fan. The visuals and the amazing sound will blow you away. Don't pay much attention to the plot, as you'll be let down. Just watch it for the experience. Metallica has always been cutting edge, and they certainly do it here.

This have everything that a metallica fan wants in a concert film,This was shot great with IMAX cameras and with 3D tech.The music sound so great and the side story is what you want to have with metallica songs. Do not wait to buy,just do it you wont be sorry it's worth every penny.

METALLICAAAAA! 3D tv's were invented for this kind of experience. Just make sure you have a good sound system so the neighbors enjoy it too!

This is a must own for any Metallica fan. A good selection of tunes from their catalog and it simply pumps you up to want to go nuts. I feel the movie component of the film was very well done and there was good balance between the band playing and the action in the streets.

It starts with a backstage look at a Metallca concert and goes into the concert. I have been to several Metallica concerts and watching this movie made me feel like I was at the show. Great movie.

Great movie overall. I am still a fan of 3D, to me it makes the movie more lively. I wish 3D Blu-Rays were released at a higher frequency.

A friend asked if I saw the movie-concert so I decided I would give it a go with my newly purchased B & W speakers purchased from Best Buy. This movie is fantastic! I'm not a metal head by far but this one is a keeper.

Awesome movie/concert. If you grew up with Metallica or just like them, you already have this. Worth the price of admission alone when they play Orion onstage by themselves while the credits roll. Hit the Lights n Ride the Lightning!

This movie is just a huge 1 hour and half music video. That's not a negative though it was filmed great and sounded even better. If your a metallica fan you need to watch it, also has good extra features. Highly recommend it!

If you have never seen them live, then you will want to after watching this. Stage setup is amazing, sound is phenomenal & the accompanying story is just as good.
