The installation went smoothly, and the unit works great.

Worked great. Had to trim down the plastic around my stereo opening and use different screws because the heads kept the radio from sliding all the way into the dash. The mount kit did exactly what it was supposed to.

This is what you need to double din older Ford Explores and Mercury Mountaineers. Remember to only dremel the top and and bottom of the dash bezel, since you need to side lips to lock the head unit in place.

Replaced the radio in my truck. The radio and install kit look like they were made for the truck. The radio was installed at Best Buy and the installer did excellent work.

Bought a new truck had original stereo had to put a new one on and it was a perfect match for my 99 ford ranger. I added a double din stereo to it great fit with some tweeks.

Bought this for a double din aftermarket radio install for a Ford Ranger. The side brackets didn't quite match up ideally for my setup. The screws to hold the brackets could have been tad longer to hold them on more securely. You may have to get creative if using for a Ford Ranger install.

I love, love, love my new car stereo, but without the mounting bracket it would be an eyesore on my floorboard. The stereo fits the space likes it came from the factory.

Sleek and slim for a minimalist look. Would like to have an option to remove head unit once installed versus having to pull entire dash if you need to modify anything. Other than that it’s a decent dash kit.

Won't work without this . Buy it if you need it. I did. No regrets. Probably not reusable like all the others don't snap it in till the end.
