Customers value the Ground Loop Isolator for its ease of use and straightforward installation. Many find the price to be reasonable for the performance it offers. However, a significant number of customers have reported experiencing unwanted noise even after using the isolator. Some users have also noted a perceived reduction in bass frequencies, sometimes requiring adjustments to their audio settings.

This Noise Suppressor works. If you do not know how it works, because it lacks instructions, you may have to experiment to resolve your interference issue. Before the amp or after the receiver head, mmm that's the question. I installed this product in a 1978 Chevy Corvette with the main problem with engine noise. Let's see, 1978? The year of the Cat?

I purchased two of these filters (one for front, one for rear) after getting an annoying squeal that fluctuated with acceleration input through my Kenwood receiver. I noticed this was primarily coming out of my left-rear speaker. After installing these filters, the squeal has been reduced to barely noticeable levels (albeit not entirely eliminated). Installation was a breeze, as I simply unplugged my RCA cables from the factory amp into the radio and plugged the filter to run in series between the radio and the cables (it is even simpler than it sounds). For my installation, I didn't need to hook up the brown ground wires, it just worsened things if they were connected. Overall, good product and I recommend them if you are experiencing similar issues.

Doesnt resolve ANC

I bought this thinking i had a ground problem. I eventually figured out that the car i owed has what they call "ANC". I have a 2008 pilot. Not all cars have an ANC. Honda for sure does. An ANC is active noise cancelling. Which there are microphones in the car that sence engine noises etc around you and emits sound waves to make it seem quieter. Its similar to noise cancelling in headphones. Prior to knowing this, i purchased this thinking again, ground issue. This did help with the constant loud buzzing sound they'd make without music on. This is actually good for alternator hum that you'd hear. I ended up doing research and so far i know honda uses ANC in their cars so i actually had to find the microphones for the ANC, not bluetooth, because theyre is both mics in the car, and unplug the ANC microphones and now the whole system works perfectly. If you dont have ANC in your car, this would work for you.

It suppossedly works, its just not the answer for problem. But I bought it online from Best buy and showed up to get it and they were awesome and it was quick in and out. Unfortunately I'm still dealing with my ground nuke issues. I think I would pay somebody a million dollars if they could just come out here and solve it for my truck and all the money I spent on stereo equipment that I can't enjoy really. I'm awesome at home remodeling that car stereo. I'm not so good apparently.

I drove 100 miles to pick this up... I mean that in a good way.
I couldn't find the exact thing I needed within any timeline that made sense. The Best Buy in my hometown had it available, and I went down to see my parents and picked this up.
That said, I am using this to ground my record player - since installing it, the sound has no issues and it's crystal clear. Worked like a charm!

Fixed feedback buzz in PC to Stereo Connection

Great little device. before tearing your computer down to see where it's not grounded properly (because it probably is) do s simple check. Are your Stereo and your PC on the same power circuit? If yes you might get that annoying 50Hz to 60Hz buzz from your speakers. This fixes the issue because it was designed to do so. It isolates and traps the ground loop feedback and - magically - no more buzz. It's a 2 minute fix that the stereo folks have know about for decades (because it's an analog issue not a digital one). If you have it though the audio inputs it's easy. They make ones for 1/8in plugs as well but this one fit my need perfectly.

I have an aftermarket stereo in my car and an amplifier, the stereo has a phone setting and the people who called had to listen to an annoying squeal, now that the ground loop isolator is in they don't have to listen to it anymore.
Easy installation and it worked well.

Works great between computer and stereo receiver

I recently replaced my desktop computer, but when I connected my stereo receiver back up to the computer's audio output it produced feedback in the form of an annoying buzz and hum. I assumed I needed to replace the speaker cable with a more insulated cable, but then I read a suggestion in an online forum to try a ground loop isolator as a cheaper alternative. It was delivered quickly and I hooked it up in about two minutes. The feedback has been completely eliminated and I don't notice any reduction in the sound quality. I'm not sure if it would work in all cases, but it was a cheap, easy solution to my problem since the computer appears to be the source of the feedback.

So this is a product that works great depending how you use it for light noise this should work fine with out grounding it how ever in my case it was just ridiculous noise but, after grounding it to the cars chassis all noise is gone , its easy to ground just tie the two wires hanging from the box together locate a ground wire usually black!! And tap into it tap don't cut!! Meaning splice to get some wire to connect the box too and boom grounded and all noise gone ! :)

I installed a new amp and wires to my door speakers and noticed a buzzing, whining sound after. Checked all my wiring and my last solution to fix was this isolator. Quickly resolved my problem right after installation.

The product does what it says. No instructions but if your buying one you probably know whats going on. Cant say much about it, however the audio techs you have at the Boynton Beach congress are awsome. They know who they are. Very knowledgeable went above and beyond to help me do a custom audio job as far as whats needed ,doing the research looking for every possible options. So to the i give 5 stars

I purchased these to combat a noise issue in my Corvette. When you would turn the aftermarket radio on or off, the factory amplifier would turn on before the radio so you would get a pop from them. Putting these in line removes the physical connection (inside the box is a transformer, so the signal transfer happens over an air gap) that DC power can travel through, and eliminates the turn on/turn off pop.
NOTE: THIS WILL NOT WORK IN MOST CASES. My use case is very specific and a misuse of the item, but it gets the job done.

Mirrored an iPhone to my car stereo for both video and audio but the speakers picked up interference. An awful buzz and crackling sound. I installed this in line with the stereos rca jacks and presto. Crisp, clean audio with no loss of power. Best few dollars I’ve ever had the pleasure of spending.

As long your vehicle does not have an excessive about of poorly grounded components. Grounds should be clean and tight before a device like this is used as a bandaid for the real problem. However, it serves it's purpose when you can't find the source of the interference.
