Functional, but not secure.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used this installation kit for a 2002 Grand Marquis and I have mixed feelings about it. It fits just fine, but there is no way to secure your possessions with this harness! The nubs that hold it in place are pathetic, you can remove them with a light tug since the harness wasn't designed to receive the original FORD plate locks. And to make matters worse the kit does NOT include a complimentary set of bolts to secure the back of the stereo to the adjustable harness so if it ever comes loose the stereo may jangle. But for $20 it could be worse. If you decide to buy- HAVE A CAR ALARM INSTALLED FIRST, but that goes for anyone upgrading their stereo.

Holds the radio just fine

However, I ended up installing it myself because the free install cancelled twice. Once they used the excuse that they needed to cut something in Fords and absolutely nothing needed cut. I would have rated higher otherwise.
