a necessity, but for an aftermarket part, it fit perfectly

Daughter was home from college for the weekend. We were able to find this very quickly and was so happy that they had it in stock so that we could get her new radio set up and ready to go before she had to hit the road again.

I don't see anything bad that I could say about this product. It looks nice in my truck and the tray underneath is deep enough to house my phone, my iPod, and the remote control for my media player.

overall good kit, got the job done without a big hassle, build quality was good but not great but overall i was pleased

This product made it easy to replacy my broken factory car stereo by myself. It provides a small storage "shelf" under the stereo which works great to hold my phone.

This was a good product, wasn't too easy to read the instructions. Little confusing. Mine came broken, but return to best buy and another one

It is 100% plastic, doesn't include the bolts for securing the stereo into the bracket and if you need to install it into certain car models you need to carefully snip the two bolt flanges on the bottom to make it fit. And worst it isn't secure, you can just tug on it lightly to remove the whole thing! Does it function? yes, but it feels really cheaply made that one mistake could crack it like an old graham cracker. But there is no other way to upgrade the OEM stereo without breaking bank.

It is what it is, I wouldn't rest any weight on it aside from the radio itself, on turns I find myself blocking the radio so it doesn't fall out/ have the plastic snap. Could just be my driving, it hasn't broken yet....

It's hard to snug it in ur dash n easily to break so be caution ur at ur own risk..

Installation couldnt have been easier. All you have to do is unscrew the top two screws for your temp control panel, and snap the whole thing in and reattach the screws. Installed in less than a minute. Everything else fit great, the sleeve for the radio I bought slid right in. No problems whats so ever. And the compartment on top is perfect to put your ipod and/or a remote. I highly recommend this product. I gave this 4 stars for price because I feel it could have been cheaper. Hope this helps.

Cheap plastic. Didn't fit the car. Other one is better.

I purchased a competitive brand from another major retailer to install a Pioneer deck in my '95 Ford Ranger. It didn't work properly without major modification, so I took it back it and bought this one from Best Buy. The package included the pieces I needed, and the instructions were much easier to understand. Unfortunately, that's where the pleasure ended. Upon installation, I discovered the side DIN plates that the installation calls for prevented me from sliding the assembly into the dash panel. Off they came. I also discovered that the assembly only snapped in properly at the bottom. I thought I was doing something wrong, until I read some of the other reviews. So, at the top (pocket end), I drilled a screw through each side of the pocket to secure it to the dash panel. Unfortunately it doesn't look professional, but it does an excellent job of securing the mount. This is the reason for 3/5 stars.
