The stereo was very easy to install. Instructions were easy to follow and well explained

Depending on your car type you have to take some parts off the old system to fit the new stuff. The instructions don't tell you this so be prepared to think outside the instruction box!

Great product for mounting up aftermarket stereos.

Besides the package not having the detail instructions, the ones I downloaded from the website were not complete. Then the housing did not fit in the opening in the car.

Product didnt fit in my accord properly had to but another kit..whole other brand.. not happy ..

In the end my car had reusable universal stereo braces. I ended up not needing the kit

Found it hard to get the proper kit. Seems the process should have been easier...

Box said honda with a year range. Don't trust it talk to and installer and have them find the right one.

Some parts look very thin so they are very easy to be broken. I don't like this one.

It did not have the harness adapter that I was looking for.

Missing parts. Item was returned and purchased somewhere else. Would not recommend to purchase

Some have returned this product because they say it doesn't fit their 2001 Honda Accord. In the instruction manual pg 7, line 8 where it says "From the mounting brackets cut and remove tabs "B"", You have to either cut or simply break these tabs off, other wise it won't fit. In other words, READ AND FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS! If you don't remove the TABS next to the "B's" molded on the plastic, you will be trying to mount the unit too high in the console and will not be able to close the console. As soon as I took those tabs off, everything went in like a glove and it works absolutely perfect!

The product is made of what seems to be pretty sturdy plastic. Because the package includes hardware for a wide range of years, there are some pieces that need to be cut, as I had to do for the piece for my 2001 Honda Accord. The instructions for doing this are not very good and the plastic is hard to cut, not only due to the material but also because the piece that needed to be cut off was right next to the piece I needed to keep. Because of this I ended up accidentally cutting off a bracket that is needed for mounting the stereo because my hand slipped. I was still able to mount the stereo fairly secure anyways but I wish I had looked elsewhere for a better product made specifically for my car.
