This is such an easy and affordable alternative, and you maintain factory ESPECIALLY if you have a lease. I just did it for convenience. Metra makes good product.

Worked great and beats overpaying a local audio shop for the same connector for a lot more. Same goes for speaker installation considering all the adapters and resources to reference on the internet available for just about any vehicle.
