    This said it will work on 2005 Monte Carlos but it is the older style plug for pre 2000 GM vehicles.

    This harness is a time and effort saver. Rather than splicing into the wires in your dash, attach this harness to your new unit first and simply plug it into the socket in your dash. The wiring diagram it comes with is accurate and easy to follow. Made my installation a breeze and I was done in no time.

    This would have worked out fine for another vehicle. Did not work with '96 Buick Regal. Ended up going to Best Buy again and getting correct one. Talk to sales rep if you are unsure.
