Perfect match to factory car harness. This product made the install easier.

The harness made self-installation of the new radio a snap...literally! Had to connect 12 wires between the harness and the radio and plug the connector into the car. Simple to do. I just use wire connectors that you crimp together. Instructions were specific to the 2001 model subaru.

We pretty much just had to match up the colors to EIN standards, which ended up for at least the most part being matching each color to the same color. Makes installation super easy and the entire job was probably an hour of work.

You have to have one of these if you are installing any type of upgrade system to your car/truck. You do not want to be cutting in to the vehicles wiring harness EVER. Get this piece and have piece of mind when doing the install. Worth every penny ... I even got it on sale !!!

This item does exactly what the manufacturer and Best Buy's website advertise it will do. Makes wiring your head unit very easy. I've used several different kinds of harnesses and adapters in the past, but METRA has always been reliable, and easy to use!

Purchases harness to connect to my stock harness while installing a new stereo. All wires were connected great it was easy to install.

Using this harness avoids cutting into the the car's wiring harness. By plugging in to the original harness you simplify installation, reduce the risk of poor connections and if need be allow the OEM radio to be put back in.

Got it for my Subaru and the wires fit perfectly. Has easy to follow instruction so I did not have a hard time trying to figure out which wires go to which.
