The visuals are impressive and gameplay is unique, different than other Metroid games still very good. Some people are giving lower ratings saying not quite the same but each game should be different. They're a high expectations because the game took so long but it had to go in a different direction. I like what I have played so far.

Despite some minor flaws, this game not only looks great but plays great too. Such a fun experience and a great entry point for people new to the series.

Ive always been a fan of metroid and i was stocked for prime 4! Its a great game and has its flaws but it makes up for it in its world design, music, and atmosphere! Its also a very good starting point if your interested in the metorid series as it doesnt require knowledge of any previous titled to fully enjoy

This is by far the best looking game Nintendo has ever produced. Mouse controls are very responsive, 4K visuals and 120 fps run very well. Level design can be questionable in some places, but overall solid game. By far the best combat in any Metroid Prime game to date. A must have in any Switch 2 collection.

Overall I enjoyed my time with Metroid Prime 4 Beyond. A much more straight forward adventure to previous games in the series with a 12 hour campaign. Many of it collectibles are very visible and easy to find. My biggest issues is the lack of environmental puzzles that span multiple rooms or areas that slow the pace down. This one is more combat heavy but has a lack of diverse enemy placement and types of enemies that create much challenge. Many of your increased arsenal changes the flow well, enemies can be frozen for a good set of time allowing you to deal with enemies more easily. Electrical blast that arc to multiple enemies to slowly whittles their numbers. It a good games but not tightly knit together to over games in the series.

This game is an absolute must-have, especially if you played the original Metroid Prime on GameCube. It keeps that classic Metroid feel while looking and running great on the Switch 2. Exploration, atmosphere, and gameplay are all top-notch. Totally worth it for longtime fans.

Very good game. I love the combat and boss design. Some of the design choices with exploring and progression let me scratching my head but these are mild annoyances in a really good game.

Fantastic game! If you have enjoyed any of the Prime titles, this will be an easy transition for you. If this is your first Prime experience, you’ll love it! Great graphics and gameplay. Cool story.

Wonderful soundtrack, beautiful graphics both in handheld and docked, fun puzzles and epic boss battles. I don’t think the game gave enough time to really develop a relationship with the characters. Some people may not like how linear the game feels. Some parts feel a bit empty. Overall I was happy that this game showed what the Switch 2 can do and it excites me for an other Prime game down the line or even a follow up to Dread

Haven’t found a game on switch that graphically made me stop to take screenshots, world is stunning on Switch 2 and gameplay is challenging enough for casual gaming

Metroid Prime 4 Beyond is a great return for a beloved, sort of dormant franchise. It looks great, plays better than ever, and goes in a bold direction. I've enjoyed the game thus far.

The graphics and gameplay were great. The story line was not that great and I disliked all the side characters talking.

If you’ve played the other Prime games before, you’ll know what you’re getting into. If not, just know this isn’t your typical first person shooter. There are some things I think they should remove for the next game (I sure hope there is another game), but I honestly loved my experience. Very fun, plays smoothly, and art direction is really good.

Metroid Prime 4 is quite a good FPS with fantastic frame rate and graphics and a showcase for the Switch 2

No pun intended - this is a prime example of what a modern Metroid Prime game should be. I’ve seen some mixed responses online, but as an avid fan of the series, this is truly a great place to start. I loved the story of this game, and I was completely enamored with the world design and visual storytelling throughout. To me, this is the best Prime game to date. I adore how Retro Studios crafted a unique and beautiful alien world. Please, please try this out if you’re even remotely interested. It’s a stunner!

It's not the best game out there, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy every part of it (except the open world part). It's a flawed game, and definitely difficult to recommend, but if you think its for you its worth giving a shot. It is also one of the BEST uses of the Switch 2 graphics and worth it just for the stunning world it offers.

I liked it a lot! About to start my second run through on hard mode. Buttery smooth gameplay, and the graphics are amazing. A must have for NSW2 owners

Great game kinda short. Puzzles a bit too easy, but very enjoyable. Boss battle are tough and fun.

It was great to play this game after a 16yr drought of Metroid Prime games, they really captured the elements of the original Metroid Prime games, and added some awesome new features.
