I never played Prime until the Wii Trilogy, and I was skeptical of this at first, however the dual stick controls and improved visuals and frame rate make this a true remaster. I was happy to see Nintendo drop a physical release too, and while I would have liked to see an upscaled version of 2 and 3 in here too, it's still a fantastic game on its own.

Metroid has been a favorite game growing up and coming out with this remake is awesome

This game is a no brainer for me. I played it when it came out on the Gamecube back in the day, and loved it so much I had to double dip when it was released for the Wii years later. Yet, despite having played it multiple times before, as well as it's sequels, this game still continues to enthrall and amaze me. If you've never had the opportunity to play this amazing series, there's no better time to explore Tallon IV. If you're anything like me, you won't be dissappointed.

I hopped on this the minute I saw it available for order, it's nice to have an accessible version of the game on newer consoles. I was blown away with how good the game looked and how well the controls are. If you're looking for a great sci-fi adventure on the switch grab this game. It's definitely worth it to get an intro to the series, and apparently Prime 2 is coming soonish too, so there's no better time than now to get into the prime series.

Still the same classic game, with completely rebuilt visuals, with minimal quality of life changes and control updates! If you haven't experienced this classic, definitely pick it up! Or if you have, play it again! 9/10

Absolutely love this game. The hype is true. Great landscape and sound. Easy tracking. You need this game in your arsenal.

Metroid Prime is by far one of my favorite games of all time and the original still holds up to this day. The remastered version makes its already good visuals and turns it into one of the best looking switch games out right now, making it feel like a fully modern title. Especially with the updated control scheme. If you have the chance to play it, try it out. This game is fantastic and deserves all the praise it gets, especially for it's price.

Great remaster, the graphics look incredible especially when you have it on the go. The game has a great ambience overall and it really improves on the original title. I especially like the price of this game, rare for first party nintendo titles. Also the physical edition the box has another option for the cover which is great.

While this game is not the greatest FPS I have ever played, it is definitely a title worth playing if you enjoy exploration and fast-paced combat. I do have my gripes with it, but most are only with optional objectives that are only needed for 100% completion. Easily worth the $40 price tag, though I will warn that if you do not enjoy 3D platforming in first-person, this game is probably not for you.

This was already a great game and now it's remastered! Definitely pick this up if you can. Improved graphics and controls!

This has got to be the ultimate edition to Metroid Prime. I was impressed by reviews on line but once you put the controller in your hand and play this game you can tell it blows the original Gamecube game out of the water in terms of how good it looks and how well it runs. If you never played this before then make it a MUST for Switch owners. Im sure 2 and 3 are on their way.

Give it a try, it is a very unique game that is not Mario for the 100th time. Nice art, perfect music, they added better controls for the game, way better and improved graphics, sadly, they took the beams enviroment lighting and some reflections but added a lot of quality in other little things. A true masterpiece for only $49.

With new dual-stick controls, gyro support, and remastered assets and lighting, this is the definitive way to play Metroid Prime. This exploration shooter "first person adventure" redefined not just console FPS games, but influence future FPS level designs for games such as DOOM 2016 and PREY (2017). At its original MSRP of $40, it's quite a steal.

Amazing remake! Visuals have been massively improved, new control options, cheaper than most other remakes and remasters these days. Fingers crossed they'll drop the other 2 games in the future AND ACTUALLY SHOW US SOMETHING ABOUT METROID PRIME 4. At the time of this review, it has been just over 6 years since the announcement of Prime 4

I bought this on the GameCube when it was released and even then I thought it was a masterpiece. Visuals are improved in this version and the game is even more amazing. Motion controls are awesome and even if you don't use those there are multiple control setups. A must have game for anyone interested in FPS.
