At first glance the Mevo system looks like a great overall steaming solution. Unfortunately, it is super limited. Many things that it should do "out of the box," are either not available, or only available with a subscription service. You can buy a Black Magic ATM Mini and a decent HDMI camera for less money and do everything this can do plus WAY more. Lesson learned. I returned it.

The camera has only worked once successfully since purchased. I have called tech support 3 times and no one has answered or respond. The email response to my issue was not any better. All of the resolutions they provided did not work.

    Great Concept - But...

Works fine with my wi-fi network at home, but won't work with the local public library's open wi-fi. The Mevo connects to the wi-fi, and my iPhone connects to the wi-fi, but then the phone won't connect to the camera. Seems to work with the Mevo hotspot and my cell service, so we'll so how it turns out for our event this coming week. If not relatively trouble-free, we'll probably return.

Never could get the device to sync to the app. Went through two different Mevo devices. Over 30 hours spent working with these devices. Read the entire user manual. Countless times contacted Vimeo support. Geek Squad knew absolutely nothing about Mevo. Vimeo concedes that there must be a bad batch of Mevo’s with a faulty WiFi chip. Issue never resolved with this Vimeo product.
