Fast little machine, works well for simple repair

I purchased it for my 7 yo daughter to use for making doll clothes, etc. It is extremely light weight and small making it very easy to store when not in use. I wanted something with a foot pedal vs. just batteries and the fact that this machine comes with a pedal is a bonus compared to other small machines in the same price category. We have not used every stitch thus far - - only the straight stitch and the zig zag stitch. Each have worked fine.

self operating for a beginner

Poor construction
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this machine for my 12 year old to begin sewing, and after using it 2 times...On cotton...The bobbin housing completely sheered away from the machine base and is completely broken. I was supervising her, and she was not mishandling the machine at all. 50 bucks wasted on a poorly made machine. Don't waste your money like I did and spend the extra money to get a better machine. Customer service says it has been more than 15 days so I am unable to return the item, so now I have this little sewing machine to collect dust.
