This is a set of cards with codes to enter to give you (or someone else, it is a gift-pack after all) a small pile of credit to use to purchase games, add-on content, or in-game items on Xbox Live. In and of itself, nothing special. What's special is that - while you're spending $45 to receive three $15 cards - this package includes an additional $5 card for free which effectively makes it 10% off. If you're looking to purchase something on Xbox Live, getting it for a minimum of 10% off (before any other sales are factored in) is a pretty nice deal.

Ok so it's not really the only way I can pay for games on Xbox Live but because of a time when Microsoft kept overcharging my credit card, I had to deal with the customer service over the phone in India who refused to correct anything. Needless to say, I had to have my numbers changed on my card because of some glitch on their side. Because of the hassle, I won't ever use my debit card on file with them again. So having the option to buy them outright like this for games is wonderful.

Best XBOX gift cards every year

This is the best Xbox gift cards hands down every year. They only come out at Christmas time as a stocking stuffer and once they are gone that's it for another year. You only pay 45 dollars no tax and you receive 50 dollars in gift cards. The 5 free dollars is a great deal if you buy a lot of digital games or add ons on the Xbox since Microsoft taxes all digital transactions that extra 5 dollars now covers your taxes.

This is a great value as you obviously get $5 worth of Xbox Live credit for free. But be careful as the $5 Bonus expires, unlike the $15 cards. So make sure you enter the code right away. Also, double check the expiration date when purchasing, as Best Buy leaves out expired sets.

This gift was perfect for my nephew. I was a little disappointed because I was told by a Best Buy employee that my nephew could use the gift card to buy Live membership from the Xbox Microsoft store, but this wasn't true. He still loved the gift and was able to purchase games.

Buying this to give out is nice as most big ticket DLC is around $15. Consider for someone buying/getting a base game to give the option of DLC or buying something else. Also, the extra $5 is a nice for some smaller content or a little gift for yourself, if you deserve it.

I like when they do this around Christmas time every year. You get a $5 bonus credit for spending $45. Making it a $50 value, thinking of buying around. Xbox store online always has sales at the end of the year for game downloads. So it's perfect timing.

I love getting a few of these when they start selling them around Xmas. You get an extra $5 thrown in for free. I buy a few of these and I stockpile them to buy digital games throughout the year so my kids and I can play them in both of our XBoxes.

XBOX gift cards are a great way to support the gamer that you love + with this particular set of gift cards you or the gift recipients gets $5 free. Buyer be ware as the $5 gift card does have an expiration date. Read the fine print.

Our 10 year old son & his friends are into their video games. Their wish lists all contain Xbox gift cards. We love that Best Buy has many gift card options. We like these multipacks, so that we can gift them as birthday gifts too.

I buy these cards and give them as rewards to my teenage sons for good grades or doing extra chores or just if I noticed they'd been helpful to a neighbour without being asked. I buy 4 packs a year on average and they never expire.

Didn't realize untuntil checkout that I got a bonus $5 card, which was a nice surprise. Wish there was a direct way to port over your BBuy rewards straight to xbox live, but that'll never happen because copyrights and do stuff lol

$50.00 bucks worth of Microsoft gift cards for $45.00! Anytime you can get a discount on these cards, go for it. I guess the extra $5.00 included now pays for TAXES on your online purchases - which is just wrong!

The free $5 bonus card makes this the best retail deal, but keep in mind the $5 card has an expiration date, unlike the standard gift cards. Details can be found on the product page & product packaging.

A very good purchase to use in the Microsoft store or on Xbox live. It actually has an additional $5.00 in the purchase. So you get $50 worth of Microsoft cash for the price of $45. Definitely worth it.

Not much to say for this item. Gift cards go on sale rarely. So if your buying a game digitally and don't like having Microsoft save your credit card info. then this would be a good way to go.

This was a gift for my son, he actually makes out a printed birthday and Christmas list (LOL), still at 20. This was on the list. It works and keeps him from using his bank card, so I'm happy.
