Easy Way to Keep your Account Stocked!

What can I say about this - it is basically a currency conversion for use on the Xbox 360/Xbox One marketplace. However, BestBuy sometimes has AWESOME sales on these cards, sometimes discounting them nearly 20%. I check the BestBuy ads all the time for deals on these cards and oftentimes pick them up in large quantities if they are on sale. These cards make awesome gifts as well. I have a couple of people in my family that love seeing these in their cards around birthdays/Christmas time, and they come in small enough denominations (such as this $15 card) that you could put one in a card for smaller occasions. And for those who think that $15 isn't enough to buy a game, keep in mind that the Xbox store has music and movies to purchase or rent, not to mention indie games that are usually around this price! Definitely would recommend, especially from BestBuy during sale times.

I love the Xbox gift cards and the amount of options you have to spend the money on. The Xbox marketplace has greatly expanded beyond just games. You have full market retail games that can be purchased and downloaded without ever having to leave your house. The also have a ton of arcade games that can be downloaded as well. I personally bought this to download some movies and TV shows for my family to enjoy. We rented a few movies and bought some cartoon TV shows for my kid. The marketplace also has a ton of movies and music to choose from. The Gift Card can also be used to buy movies and TV shows on VUDU so that way you can enjoy them across all your devices.

Bought for xboxlive $14.99 purchase as did not want to use CC for online purchase. Applied code, prompted with total reflecting $14.99 plus tax. Had to buy online code for $5 purchase on Amazon. Left with remainder of around $3+, which will not buy much on xboxlive. Misleading costs when purchasing online code. Makes consumer think all cost will be covered with online code. Since switching from points based system purchasing to standard purchasing xbox live is able to charge tax. Being charged tax twice on single purchase(1st - in store, 2nd online).

Buying these cards at stores (online or brick and mortar) is usually a better deal than using your credit card directly on your console. At Best Buy, particularly, you get Best Buy points for your purchase. This particular time, Xbox currency cards were 10% off, and there was a promotion that netted an extra few bucks for making the purchase at a store. So, it was pretty much a no brainer, as far as value for your buck goes. Buying gift cards for things that you spend money on anyways is a good way to go with all of the loyalty/points programs out there!

This is a great denomination to release Microsoft points in. Since most games on Xbox Live Arcade are purchased in 400 point ($5) increments this card give you the ability to download ten 400 point games or five 800 point games or some other combination (you get the idea). $50 is also a much more acceptable amount than the $62.50 for 5000 points. Since this is on a card it makes this possible to give as a gift or buy without using a credit card. This would be a worthwhile purchase for anyone with an Xbox 360 and Xbox Live

A great gift for the Xbox players in your life, especially for those who have made the transition to going digital with the new gen system. A great purchase for yourself when you can find them on sale. Redeem the credit towards a sale item in the digital store for an even better deal. I gave this a four out of five for Value for Price because the only time it is a great value for the price is when you can find it on sale. Otherwise it's just an even exchange of cash for Xbox credit.

I use $15 XBOX gift cards specifically to buy premium time on World of Tanks 360 edition. But you can use it to help buy whatever you want off the games, Movies/TV, and Music marketplace (I prefer not to enter my Credit Card info on my console). On the 360, press the guide button on the controller so the guide pops up, then click left once on the left stick and navigate down to Redeem Code and press A. Enter the code from the card, agree to add funds, and you're done!

This is an easy way to make your online gaming purchases, without using your credit or debit card. I started buying these a few years back when my youngest son was playing Little Big Planet on the ps3. And discovered that he could get all this additional content by clicking certain buttons on the PSN - my fault for not having it password protected, but $65 in purchases later, my card info was immediate removed from both PSN & XBox Live, now I simply pick up these cards instead.

I love these gift cards because I don't trust any gaming login with my personal credit/debit card information. So to alleviate any issues I buy these cards to protect myself and to buy the necessary add-ons/games from the Microsoft store. This was the best thing they even created for those who want to buy content without putting their bank/credit info in their systems. And the $15 card is great if you didn't need the $20 or $50 one.

I have nothing but positive feedback for this product. It makes a great gift too. What's not to love? It's just cash to spend in the Xbox Live store. Buy games, movies, music... You can't go wrong with the best gaming platform around. I recomended purchasing your games digitally. They just work better that way. The only thing I wish this product had was a QR code on the back so that the Kinect can read it with out typing in the code.

Xbox Live is still the online service to beat. Rarely have network errors. Its easy enough to buy a card and put in the code. Have had a couple instance where it would say the code was already redeemed, but have not had a problem replacing it at the store. Xbox Live goes even further on Xbox One now that the family can share the Gold membership without each person having to buy their own now, which saves my family money.

Ever since Microsoft converted their MS Points over to actual currency, your remaining balance(if you had one) would have converted accordingly. Now, any transactions performed online in their marketplace (purchasing games, DLC, etc) use this system. While you can still enter and have MS points converted, everything will be done in cash now so it's good to have some stashed away for a rainy day or add on to that game you always play.

I've bought Xbox gift cards online for years. What they do is once the purchase is complete they send you an email with the digital code. Literally every place I can find that sells the gift card does except Best Buy. Very very irritating. By not offering digital gift cards all they do is lose even more money by having to produce and ship an item simply for the number on it. Definitely not a "Best Buy" as usual.

I really like the $15 cards. Four of these equal $60, which is the price of a new digital download game on xb1. The only thing I hate is that it's not Kinect ready with a QR code for easy input, I had to type 4 25 character codes, once for each card. I really wish Xbox would start selling $60 cards, so that I only have to type one code. I think this makes sense because most games in US are $60 when they are released.

Not much to say here. It's a card that gives you money you can put on your Xbox Live account so that you can download games on to your Xbox 360 or Xbox One. My only wish is that they'd start putting out new cards that include a QR code, because the Xbox One has the ability to read QR codes and apply the money to your account without you having to manually type in the code on the card. Not a huge hassle, but it'd be nice!

It does the job. I had no problem whatsoever using this card after the cashier activated it at the register. These are great if you are less than confident with storing CC info on MS's servers and you don't feel like entering in your info - every time you purchase something on your console. If you're at Best Buy anyhow, and you tend to buy something at the MS store soon anyhow....no downside here, folks.

Not too much to say here except if you are on the fence about buying one of these cards just do it. With the weekly sales and deals on Xbl it's always good to have some money stored in your Microsoft account. For those without credit cards are who don't like to use credit cards online for security reasons this here is a no brainier if you plan on purchasing items from the Xbox or Microsoft Marketplace

Physical gift cards for xbox are awesome, especially as someone who is a fan of DLC and will probably use the card quickly. Also, it's possible to get more bang for your buck if you stock up when they go on sale. Be careful that the card is activated though. If it isn't you can have problems. Since it's easy to just steal them from the store unactivated, they don't like to activate them over the phone.
