The downfall is now they are charging you annually so you can get the updates. It’s a Catch-22.

I expected a CD to accompany my Word purchase. Instead, I received a piece of cardboard with involved instructions on how to access Word online. The printing was done with microscopic registration, requiring a magnifying glass. I was interrupted several times with error messages and was finally asked to contact Microsoft technical support to finish installation. Thanks Microsoft. You saved yourself money. Now reimburse me for my time and frustration! Dean Ulsenheimer

With Office 365 you definitely should be able to pay annually. If that's not happening for you, we suggest going into your Microsoft account, click on Services and Subscriptions, and then click on Payment and Billing. That should lead you to a place within your account where you can manage your payment settings. Yet, the program shows my gmail account but won’t let me load program on other computers because it says I’ve already used this. It’s for several users right? Was on chat with Microsoft for almost two hours trying to figure it out. All he could say was it was redeemed and the email it was redeemed to was “purged.” What the heck? I’ll probably never buy this again.
