Customers love the 365 Family subscription for its ease of use, compatibility across multiple systems, and great price. Many appreciate its performance, software features, and cloud storage capabilities. Installation is straightforward, and users value the regular updates and tools like Excel. However, some customers dislike the yearly subscription model, and a few have experienced issues with Outlook.

I absolutely love Microsoft 365, it is so easy to use. My mom loves it, my son loves, and this is the only software that I use

Was super easy to install the key. I’ve now used this software on three of my devices as well as set this up for my children on their devices.

Nice addition to an electronics purchase.BUT, read the fine print and beware that some 365 subscriptions are for the PERSONAL version and not FAMILY.

I think everyone has used some form of "Microsoft Office" whether it was the original or a generic version. But we can all agree; the original is great because the programs universally do all their respective task seamlessly and are the gold standard when it comes to such type programs. I got the opportunity to test out the online download version of Office 365 for Home. I will not talk about each program and everything you can do with them because there is just too much to cover (obviously). However, I will tell you that the download was quick (even on slower internet) and set up is a snap even when using the “Share” option (require multi-user version). It is nice to have everything already in the correct format instead of having to convert files. No complaints!

Misled by sales Rep on line from Microsoft

I recently spoke with a sales representative from Best Buy regarding the purchase of Microsoft 365. Unfortunately, I feel that I was misled during this conversation. The representative did not inform me that it was possible to purchase a perpetual version of Microsoft 365 at nearly the same price as the annual subscription. Instead, he told me that only a 12-month option was available.
I placed my trust in the sales representative because of Best Buy's reputation, not because of the individual who answered my call. As a senior citizen living on a Social Security paycheck, it would be much more beneficial for me to make a one-time purchase of Microsoft 365 rather than paying $120 every year for a subscription.
It is disappointing and concerning that a respected company like Best Buy employs representatives whom customers cannot trust. This experience has left me questioning the reliability of the sales staff and the information they provide.

I was looking for office 365 subscription for working from home. This is easy to redeem. Ensure that auto-renewal is turned off. You can access Excel, Access and other office products.

I'm an old one time purchase guy, but my last purchase got too old to work with some newer software. I bit the bullet and subscribed. Multiple licenses is a waste for me. It has way too much stuff that I don't use. Mine is home use and light business use. I haven't removed my old version and am going through the process of converting .doc and xls to .docx and xlsx, etc. I am impressed so far, but could use a stripped down one time purchase version.

Adobe went to subscription-based software a few years ago, and I've never been happier. Microsoft finally came around and decided to do the same thing with MS Office. It's a great product, and does what you would expect MS Office to do.

This is a good deal for family of 6. Going forward we will continue with this subscription.

This is the same MS Office we've all used for decades, but since everything is going to the SaaS model (why buy once when you can pay every month!), why not Office too? At least MS has a new licensing arrangement where you can share your subscription with up to 5 other people that you know for one price. That makes the $100/year cost a little more reasonable, since every person will get their own account and storage space. Perfect for a family or group of friends and brings the effective cost down to $17/year (Assuming you need/use all 5 sharing spots). If you have no need to share and have access to a qualified .edu email address, I would recommend you look into the Office 365 University license instead; it's only $100 for four years.
