The OneDrive cloud storage alone is a huge difference, your files are always backed up and I can continue to work on my files on the go, on mobile phones/tablets (total 5 devices per user) and you get a license for all the family (up to 6 different users)

I love office and use it most of my working day in some form. I work from several computers and one drive allows me to have all my docs at each computer. There is also the security in knowing that is I have a HD failure I don't have to hope I can recover my work.
