We always install new updates and have had no problems. However, I really dislike the 365-day concept - having to repay for the same (or slightly updated) product every year seems a bit greedy on the part of Microsoft.

The Outlook program hooked up easily with my new email account and I can continue to use those features that I am very comfortable with. Getting set up in 365 was also very easy - which I am grateful as I am not very tech savvy.
