Buying one of these cards is a lot safer way of making purchases on the Xbox Live store then using a credit card number that Microsoft stores forever.

I was already planning on digitally purchasing a game on xbox live, so when I saw that I could get $50 in credit for $40 it was an obvious decision.

I bought it because I didn't want my credit card to be automatically charged. And this is the best way plus I got it for $5 off so I'm very happy.

The $50 card is a freebie when I purchased the X1 with a student email. You can use this card to purchase app, game, music and movie in the store.

There's not much negative that can be said about paying $47 (less $10 in reward certificates) for $50 in digital currency to be spent on Xbox Live.

Convenient and simple. Really wish there was a QR code or Kinect was able to detect the code text.

What's to say? It's a gift card, and it's very easy to use. Time for gaming! Or anything else on Microsoft store.

I use xbox gift cards for both in game content and also movies. the in store cards are a great offer because i can get rewards back at bestbuy

So, I purchased a couple of these in store. There was an issue with another set of gift cards with a $5 free card included that would't scan so the manager gave me the $50 cards and took $5 off each. Out of the 2 I purchased, only 1 worked. The other said not active. I need to go back to check that. It is what it is with these cards.. be sure they have properly scanned and activated them prior to your leaving the store.

Bought this for my son's B-day, it keeps his spending in check and I do not have to link my personal credit card to the account. Good deal!

Can't ask it to get any easier. Allows us to load $$ on our Xbox Live account so my son doesn't have to ask for a credit card every time.
