Having used this with my Surface Book for a few months now, I must say I never leave home without it. It's lightweight, lays flat in my backpack pocket, is extremely accurate, and battery seems to be hanging in there strong. I bought another for a friend for a birthday gift it has worked so well. My only complaint is that the scrolling is not as clean as the Mac mouse... Close, but not quite. Everything else is great.

I love the design and how portable it is. The only problem I have with it is, the scroll wheel is a mini touch pad that simulates the click of a wheel. This is very cool and helps you use it, when it works. There are a lot of times that it just doesn't work and I have to resort to grabbing the slide bar on the right side of the screen. Other than that, Wonderful design and I love how flat it will lay.

I really enjoy using this mouse. I like that it turns on and off by either bending it to use, or flattening it for storage. It fits my hand quite well and I can use it on a huge range of surfaces- including my sweat pants (though not as easily).
Only down side is that it uses Bluetooth which can be a battery suck. The up side is zero wires, no USB port monopoly.

I bought this mouse in addition to using the Type cover. The mouse works great on any surface that I have used it on so far. Only funny thing is the sound it makes when you scroll but you get used to it after using the mouse.
The mouse is very responsive and compact. I love how it folds flat for storage in my bag. A must have for the mobile user.

My colleague recommended this mouse to me for my Surface Pro 4. It has a great design: it's flat when it's off, fitting unobtrusively in my computer bag, but simply bending it into shape turns it on and it automatically connects to my Surface via Bluetooth. It takes a while to get used to it, especially if you have a larger mouse for office use, but once you're over that, it fits nicely in your hand, and is responsive. The virtual wheel also takes a while to get used to, but is effective, and has audio feedback to simulate use. Like all optical mice, it doesn't work well on glass tops, so take a thin mouse mat with you on trips. Overall, a very effective travel mouse.

and this is the one that you want. The articulated design is very cool, feels great in my hand, and I really like that I don't have to remember to turn it off or have a USB fob to use it. It's bluetooth, pairs easily, and flattens out (which turns it off) to fit in my bag. The touch scroll strip was a real surprise, and I really like using it!

I like this mouse with my Surface 3 Pro. It is very flat when turned off/not in use which is in keeping with my desire to be mobile. Why I have a Surface in the first place. It is Blutooth, which means you don't need a receiver taking up the only USB port on the surface (your device has to support Bluetooth for this mouse to work). The only issue I really have with it is that the "Touch Wheel" sometimes stops working and I need to turn the mouse off and on to regain the ability to use the wheel. It also took some getting used to as the wheel is strange for those of us who are used to a real rolling wheel. On the plus side, the touch wheel is low profile and compact. Overall, I am happy with the purchase for use with my Surface. If space/travel were not a consideration, I would buy a more traditional wireless mouse from Logitech.

A bit small for me, I liked that fact that is was bluetooth but I also wanted something that moved a little faster, ended up going for the Orchi from Razer, BT.
This is a great design but the harware (if you need it) is lacking. Works well on any surface though.

My favorite feature of this is that it works on multiple surfaces. I don't have to carry around a mouse pad. Also really like the easy off feature of just flattening out the mouse. I did initially have a little trouble getting the center scroll bar to work.

This mouse is the best compact mouse I've ever used. Perfect for my Surface. Brilliantly designed, good battery life, compact, and easy to carry in either pocket or briefcase. While pricier than other "laptop" mice, you are paying for a superior design and a quality build.

This is a great Bluetooth mouse for travelling, as it is very thin when folded out. Connecting it to a computer via bluetooth is simple and easy. Only downside is there are only two buttons, but the touch-scroll in the middle is nice. Just would love to have a "back" button.

A perfect companion for your Surface. No little plug in Bluetooth and go! Plus it stores flat so perfect for easy travel. Add in there it picks up on almost any surface and you are mobile and on the go with ease.

While not as comfortable as a traditional mouse, this item is still comfortable to use most everyday. However it's brilliance is in it's function while away from your desk. I've been using this for a couple of months now off and on, and when I'm away from my desk, as soon as my surface is powered on, this is out. The scroll function is great most of the time. There have only been a few instances where it did not scroll properly. Otherwise, it connects quickly, and is very accurate at locating the letter I wish to correct.
The mouse powers off when collapsed and stores flat in my laptop bag. When arched, it powers on and instantly connects for use.
Would have given it 4.5 if it was available, due to the temperamental scroll. However, I love this mouse, and I can't see how I ever traveled without it.

Great Mouse

This is a Great Mouse. I especially like the fact that you flatten it out to turn it off which then takes up much less space in your laptop case or hand bag, purse, or even a shirt pocket. Definitely a positive for getting this mouse.
However, you must make sure that you get the one you can use. I know that there are at least 3 different Arch Touch models sold and they all basically look the same, but may be different colors.
The first one I purchased for my Surface Pro 2 was not the Surface Model, but one that was slightly cheaper (black in color I think). It came with a USB dongle plugin. It worked Great but the dongle had to be inserted into a USB port and my Surface Pro 2 only has 1 USB port, thus I couldn't use my USB drive at the same time I was using the mouse. I returned it and got the Surface Arc Touch Bluetooth (black in color) model. It works Great, doesn't use a USB port, and takes up much less room in the case I use for carrying around my tablet.
I decided to get a Arc Touch mouse for my Desk Top PC. I purchased the Bluetooth, non-Surface, model (gray in color). I had read the package which stated that you needed Windows 8 or later. When I asked the sales rep, he said it should work on Windows 7 if I had a Bluetooth PC. At the time, my PC was running Windows 7 and had Bluetooth and I got a statement that indicated the mouse did pair up with the OS. However, it was never visible and the mouse never worked. I tried my Surface Arc Touch mouse with the same results. I took the gray one back for a full refund. Some time later, I updated OS on my Desktop PC to Windows 10 and paired my Surface Arc Touch (black) mouse with it. The mouse now worked on this PC. I then purchased the Gray Bluetooth Arc Touch Mouse. It also paired up and works great. I then tried it with my Windows 10 laptop. Again both Bluetooth Arc Touch (gray and black) mice work on the laptop.
So, if you are running Windows 8 or later, I feel either Bluetooth Arc Touch [Surface (black) / non-Surface (gray)] mouse will work great. You should even be able to use the USB dongle Arc Touch mouse if the use of a USB port is not a problem.
I can't say anything about other operating systems. Both of my Bluetooth Arc Touch mice work great on Windows 10 computers.
I will check yes to recommending the Arc Touch mouse, but only if you are running Windows 8 or later and it is a Bluetooth model. Other OS versions are very questionable.

I have a small hand so it fits perfectly. In addition, it flattens to travel perfectly. And with this new version there is no dongle so it doesn't take up a port. It works with blue tooth. I also found a better price than Best Buy and the salesman honored it!

When using the Surface Pro 3 as a laptop, the track pad on the type cover is not the easiest for me to use, although I've never really like track pads on any device. That's where the Arc Touch Mouse for Surface comes into play. It is lightweight, small to carry in my bad, and with the bluetooth designed specifically for the Surface Pro 3, it does not need a dongle, so the one USB port on the Surface is still open. It fits my hand comfortably and is one of the best accessories I have.

I Purchased this mouse last November, and let me be the first to tell you it is amazing. It feels great to use, and it runs very smoothly. It does work on just about any flat surface as if there were a mouse pad under it, and it really is quite amazing. It also looks cool and futuristic. I convinced my sister that is was a scanner for real world objects like something out of Star Trek. That went on for 4 days. I also recommend this product to anyone with a Windows Computer and especially a Surface Device. It runs on Bluetooth, which is a definite advantage over the cheaper variant of it. Even my friend, who initially thought it was junk, was quickly bought after using the mouse for less than 5 minutes. If you need a good, reliable, portable mouse, the Arc Touch Surface Edition is one of the best out there!

Connectivity and battery life are consistently excellent. The flattening/curving feature is a winner: I like that it stows flat, and it is ergonomic (good size and shape) when I am using it. The only thing that I can say negatively about this product is that the middle button (which controls scrolling, like the wheel) sometimes has a mind of its own and has made itself obsolete for me at this point....I usually move the mouse over to the scroll bar or just use the trackpad on my laptop. Even just attempting to use the scroll feature with this mouse causes my cursor to go into scroll lock mode, which can also be enabled by tapping the middle button. It has been a good product, but not perfect.

This mouse is awesome! It was very easy to connect via bluetooth to my Surface. It also feels very comfortable in my hand. It is also great that it goes flat, which makes it easier to store while not in use or travelling.
