I had one of these and lost it, so I bought a new one. I have had one for 2 years. The mouse is great! It is light, portable, and the batteries last for hours. I travel about 35 weeks a year and the batteries last that long.

Bluetooth mouse the way it should be...

I was hesitant to purchase this, as I know there are other lesser expensive ones available, but after reading several reviews online, I figured I'd take a plunge, since I had some credits available to use at Best Buy. Even without the credits, I would 100% recommend this to anybody looking for a good mouse option. Even if I weren't using this for the portability, I think it would be a fantastic option for those using at home. I fortunately don't need to use this at home, due to my having a bluetooth keyboard/mousepad combo that I use, but it is absolutely worth having while at work. I find the mousepad on the type keyboard to be a little lacking, and this mouse used in conjunction with the type keyboard...killer combination for on the go computing.

This mouse is so awesome. It works really well and flattens out nicely when you want to just set it aside or toss it in the purse to go. The scrolling function is a bit quirky though.

    First Bluetooth remote, kinda funky

I like the idea of Bluetooth remote, totally makes it easy and simple, and you don't have to give up a USB slot for a mouse. The Bluetooth signal either times out or drops at times, and I have to go back in and reconnect. Not super critical, but would be better if it just stayed connected, but I get it. Kind of a newer thing with these remote, and I'm sure they will continue to improve. As long as the mouse is connected, it works great. One time the roller got stuck and would not scroll up. After reconnecting it, it was fine. I'll look for newer versions this years and possibly upgrade.

This mouse is everything a real mouse should be. Fold-able, light and standard blue-tooth (4.0+) capable. Only con I found was not being rechargeable

    Mouse on the GO!

The Microsoft Surface Mouse, when in its OFF position is about the most compact mouse you will ever find. All of our field devices have Bluetooth, so we purchased quite a few of the Surface version of the mouse, instead of the Microsoft Arc Mouse (which is the same mouse, but includes the BT transceiver.) It works on many surfaces. I work in the field, often standing in from of a kiosk or other portable situation... so I usually just 'roll' it around on my shirt to move the pointer. At a desk, the device has very fine pointer movement. In short, this tail-less, thin mouse is what I choose to put in my backpack every time.

It's a mouse, maybe a little overpriced, maybe a little on the small side, but it does what it's supposed to and it's cool looking. Bluetooth technology allows me to free up my only USB port on my SP4. Only problem I've had is that the scroll sticks too often, it just locks up. I have to take the batteries out and put them back in to un-stick it. Now that I read other reviews I see I'm not the only one with the problem. Was contemplating returning it, but have decided the sticking problem is a quick fix and I'm dealing with it.

Love this mouse, very responsive on any surface and folds flat to place in the outside pocket of my case. But a little pricey, but a great mouse.

I like simple accessories that are easy to store. This mouse does just that and has a sleek look that I love. The only thing I don't like is the high price tag.

This mouse is awesome it can be used on any surface and feels great to move around and touch. High quality materials! The Bluetooth worked seamlessly on my Surface Pro 2. I love how it can collapse to flat and takes up no space. Extremely responsive and no set up required. Highly recommend. The price is steep but I waited until it went on sale and it seemed more reasonable.

    Great portable Surface Mouse

I need a real mouse in my hands to do work. I prefer the gaming style mice (is that right?) on a day to day for work (and gaming) probably due to the weights in them. That being said, this is easily the lightest mouse I've used in years and while I'm certain I couldn't use it day in and day out, for a medium or smaller business trip (5 days or less) this is a no brainer. Feels great, paired mostly easy (download the MS software) and is really responsive. If you have a Surface and travel with it, do yourself a favor and get this mouse.

I was looking for a portable mouse and this one was perfect. I have a MacBook Air (early 2015) and I wasn't sure if this would be compatible but wanted to give it a shot. It works perfectly. I didn't have any issues with connectivity at all. It's slim design fits perfect in my backpack and it gives me a lot of use before changing batteries.

Best bluetooth mouse on the market

I have tried many blue tooth mice on the market and the MS Arc mouse to me seems to be the best. I save battery life but easy on and easy off. Simply snap the mouse flat and it shuts off and easy to store in laptop case. The mouse feels right in the hand, its light, moves smoothly and never fails to connect. Never has it lost connection either. There is a windows app you download to easy change the settings for the mouse as well. The cost maybe higher than some of the other devices out there, but its well worth the price.

Great Mouse for Surface Pro 4

I purchased this mouse for use with my Surface Pro 4. Since I travel with my Surface, I want a mouse that would travel well. I love that this one fold flat and slips into my bag for easy transport. I also really like that by folding it flat the battery automatically turns off. Another benefit of this mouse is the Bluetooth connection. The Surface only has 1 USB port, so I wanted something that connected without USB. The Bluetooth connection is great and connects instantly. I was concerned with the shape of the mouse, but after a couple days of using it, I couldn't go back to a traditional shape. I should also mention that the mouse truly works on any surface. I use it on my desk without a mouse pad, at the kitchen table, in hotels and routinely on the arm rest of my couch. It works well regardless of surface, which helps keep the Surface Pro 4 mobile.

Easily portable, little pricey for the functionality, but it is pretty slick to store. I like not having the USB antenna to carry around as well. Compared to other Bluelight Opticals I've had, it has some troubles on fabrics that I've never had trouble with before, but flawless otherwise. One neat thing is it makes a clicking noise when you use the scroll pad. You can feel the feedback even though it isn't a clickable/moving button.

I didn't realize that there were two versions of this mouse until I read the reviews. I'm glad I did because the Bluetooth version is great, no dongle needed. This mouse is very easy to setup and comfortable to use, it works well on most surfaces and the battery lasts, still haven't had to replace after a month.

This is my second MS Arc Touch BlueTooth Mouse. I still use my other (Arc Surface Mouse) as well. I keep one at home and one at work, and I just carry my MS Surface back and forth. The Blue Tooth compatibility is perfect for me. It was easy to set up and very portable. The scroll swipe "wheel" does not work quite as well as a true scroll wheel, but for me the portability of putting it in my shirt pocket to head off to a meeting makes it worth the small sacrifice.
