I'm not a gamer but my son (he's 8) and his dad are. I was attracted to the price of the headset. His father has owed a pair of these for himself, but has upgraded a few years back. I have tried them just to write this review, so take it for what it is worth. For me they are comfortable to wear and the sound quality was good. My son is not the most responsible child with his toys or electronics. We've had this headset now for three months and they are still in one piece. In my house that speaks wonders.

Sound is much better than the headset included with the Xbox. Makes me feel like I'm in the action. I can wear these for hours because they're extremely comfortable. I would suggest purchasing the headset when you purchase your Xbox.

Despite being lower priced than other in stock brands, these were strongly recommended by the Best Buy associate. They work very well and are just what was needed without paying five times the price of other brands. Trust BB recommendations

Bought this headset for my X-Box One. Games sound much better now with crisp detail. Folding mic is a plus. I don't do any multiplayer stuff but have recorded voice-over on pre-recorded video clips. Not a let down!!!

Great quality. Comfortable. Allows you to hear sound from the tv in addition to chatting. The USB cable that it comes with is used to update the firmware of the XBOX controller but the packaging did not mention this.

Okay, these are not a high-end fancy headset, but they are great for the price. Purchased them for my daughter who initially didn't want them until she tried them out. The adapter with game/chat volume controls is a bonus. Seem to be comfortable to were for extended periods, sound good and mic neatly tucks away.

The headphones are very comfortable to wear for long periods of time. They sound great and they come with the adapter that is needed for volume and mic control. For the price, I don't think they can be beat.

These are very comfortable and great for gaming online. The adjustment allows you to increase the microphone to listen to your team while playing Call of Duty.

Purchased these to have as a second pair. They are extremely comfortable, and easy to wear. The sound is way better than I expected it to be. The design is simple and sleek. Great Xbox One product for the money!

This headset is a low to medium cost solution for Xbox One users that would like to have the audio from the console pumped directly into their ears. It is not a high quality headset like the ones from Turtle Beach or Astro, but it serves the purpose of an audio headset as well as a microphone for online play. The mic stows away discreetly into the design of the headset while not in use. I don't play online very often so that's usually where it stays. The headset can also plug into any standard audio jack. I use mine on my computer when I'm studying.

I went with the cheaper Microsoft option after watching closely all the recently released Xbox One brand name headsets. The bottom line is that the pricier headsets at the end of the day are also stereo headsets. I took a gamble with the microsoft brand and i've had no issues. They feel comfortable and the discreet mic tucks away nicely. You can't go wrong with the headset.

I wanted something that didn't need batteries but still had great quality. These worked really well and is as good as turtle beach.

Dollar for dollar this is a great headset to get. Granted it may not have the heavy bass like the $200+ models but it certainly gets the job done and everyone is able to hear me clearly.

This is a great buy. These headphones block out a tremendous amount of sound, I even use them with my iPad. They adjust to your head, are very comfortable, and the microphone folds up into the side of the set so it wont become broken when the headset is not in use. Great headphones and well worth it, I would totally recommend these to anyone who is looking for a quality headset that does not want to empty your wallet. Well worth it.

I read a lot of reviews and decided to purchase these. I have not been disappointed. They work well. Nice fit, and does not bother you for extended periods of time. 4 OUT OF 5 Stars, It would be 5 out of 5 if these were wireless and didn't have to plug into controller. If that's not a big deal, then I highly recommend these. Excellent sound.

my original plan was to get wireless headphones. That is before the Best Buy rep told me these headphones are only wired from the controller to the ears. Perfect sound and comfort!

These are the best headphones you can buy, other than the Astro's. I tried multiple other headphones in the same price range and they were not as good. Buy these and you will be pleased.

I purchased this headset as to not awaken my household when I want to game after hours. The quality of the sound is much better than I'd thought and for the price you just can't beat it!

I have purchased other brands and these headsets are by far superior. The quality is great and they are durable. My eleven year old son can destroy a lot and these are working great.

Theses Headphones plug into the controller, which is great. It comes with the stereo headset adapter. The controls work great and give an audible sound when the volume is at max or min. The are comfortable for long play time and sound great. The also can be used with just about everything headphone can be used. The mic is great and when not in use it folds nicely out of the way. My only con is its not true 7.1 surround sound, still sounds great though.
