The laptop came in like new condition. It has operated extremely fast and the touch screen feature works perfectly for note taking! I have also played a few games that have run smoothly. Overall, a great choice for using it on a little bit of everything. 10/10 for this laptop!

I’m giving this laptop a 3/5. It does what I need for college, but it arrived with an old and dirty Apple charger, which was a weird. I had to order a separate charger from Amazon, which was frustrating, especially since my cousin got the correct charger with the same laptop in a different color. I didn’t bother with customer service because I initially thought the charger was right until I noticed the port was different. Plus, I don’t even own a MacBook…Also, the battery life on this is terrible. I watch about four episodes of Netflix on this at 80 percent with my battery saver ON and it’s ready to die by the fourth episode.
I would recommend this to a friend

It's Perfect I have had this laptop a couple of days now and so far, I'm pleased. This was a luxury purchase in the sense that this is the most expensive laptop I have ever bought and in deciding to do it, I did a lot of research. And I would recommend that to anyone thinking of purchasing the Surface laptop. Some of the biggest complaints I saw were regarding the Snapdragon processor and that a lot of programs didn't work with ARM. I do some photoediting and use GIMP with no issue, as well as doing some writing, but since that's on Word on a Microsoft laptop, I didn't expect issues with their own products anyway. Outside of that, I installed VLC, which has an ARM compatible download. There are a few other programs I haven't decided if I'm going to install here or keep only on my old laptop, but those also have ARM compatible downloads. The point is if you have never heard of ARM and don't know if the programs you use are ARM compatible, do your research before spending the money.
The laptop is very responsive, although the start-up is a little slower than I'm used to compared to my last laptop, which I had made RAM upgrades to (32 GB there compared to 16GB on the Surface laptop). The display is bright and the touchscreen works very well. I have been on an off othe laptop all day since 6 AM and 7 hours later, I still have 80% battery. I also splurged and bought the Arc Mouse and the pairing was quick and simple. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase.

Wifi connection capability stopped after 3 months of owning it. I purchased it refurbished in supposedly excellent condition. After spending 4 plus hours troubleshooting with Microsoft Support, it was deemed I needed to send it in for repair.

This is my first Microsoft product, and I love it! It can play Sims for hours and then handle my college work right after. It's super lightweight, and I am very fond of the backlit keyboard. I also bought it refurbished for about $500 so it was definitely a steal. I can take it to my campus for seven (7) hours, and it lasts the entire time. I am so glad I found a laptop with a small screen size that is also touchscreen!
