We were so excited to get the xbox one S and got it all set up and were not aware that the Kinect would not connect to it on its own. You have to purchase this with the Kinect. We have had no problems with it. The adapter is well made.

This product works seemlessly with our new Xbox. Plugs into the back of the new Xbox allowing us to utilize the Xbox Connect features. Highly recommended since there is no other way of connecting the Xbox connect without this device.

Bought this to connect to my grandson’s new Xbox. We were able to connect with ease and enjoy all the games. We especially enjoyed the sports games and its pretty neat to see yourself come live on tv. Great purchase, well worth it.

Works great but this should be sold with the kinect sensor instead of separately. Ridiculous that the kinect sensor is $100 and the adapter is sold for $40. These should be sold together.

This is a component that should have been a part of the Xbox one. I was not even aware that you needed this until I tried connect my Kinect. Just another way for Microsoft to get you for another $40.00. The component works as it should, no complaints there.

Not sure why I needed another $40 part to use my kinnect on my new xbox, but it works like it is supposed to.

If you have the Xbox camera and you have the Xbox One S, you must have this adapter. Very easy to install and the connection is solid.

I have not attached to my Windows PC as of yet but when I do I will be able to access SKYPE and communicate directly with family and friends.

Works just like my original conect. Was easy to hook up also.

Given that Microsoft didn't include a port for the Kinect on the x-box one, if you want a Kinect you have no choice.

Seemed to be way too many catches to using it as a webcam, thought I'd just hook it up and install the drivers and have it working but it seemed like there was a lot more fidgeting with software and settings, then it also depends on your PC build which I didn't seem to see mentioned anywhere until I had to troubleshoot. This being just an add-on to another item you had to buy I'd say I can't recommend this. Bought a good Logitech webcam for the same price as just this adapter and it was basically plug and play, much more convenient then buying a Kinect, a Kinect adapter, then trying to figure out how to make it work on windows.

Hated to have to buy this to make a ONE use a Kinect camera, but it works very well. Be aware it needs to be plugged in to power to work. It does come with a power brick. Just seems to defeat sleek feel of Xbox One having to use this.

It's kind of bulky but I guess that is one way Microsoft was able to shrink the Xbox One S. Wish there was a better solution to incorporate a microphone with out controller and mic, but this does the trick.

If you have an Xbox One Kinect laying around and want to use it with the One S, this let's you do it. Brings voice commands back to the One S, if you want that sort of thing. I think you can still get this adapter for free if you already have a One, Kinect, and S.

This is need to have Connector to connect Latest Xbox-One-S Console with Kinect. The quality is good and its very easy to install.Just follow the guide provided.

This is needed to hook the Kinect the Xbox One S. I think it should come with the Kinect though. I shouldn't have to pay $99 for the Kinect and $49 for the adapter. I think that is ridiculous.

The adapter works by design. It cost a lot and seems strange that if you buy a kinect you are required to get one. Why doesn't it come with the Kinect and cost less.

It's nice to have it. However Microsoft should've known better when the made the one S and the Kinect. Huge fail on their part for making folks have to purchase this because of their design flaw.

It is unfortunate Microsoft removed native support for the Kinect in the xbox one S, where the Kinect adapter is now required, consuming yet another power outlet. It is easy to plug in and use.
