Problems with resolution
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used a 2nd monitor with my last laptop to provide an extension to the desktop and planned to do the same here. This does not work well as when I attached a 19" SAMSUNG monitor it reduced the resolution on the SurfacePro3 and the Samsung. This caused a black border on left and right side of SurfacePro3 and reduced resolution along with reduced resolution on Samsung. This has to do with the screen resolution of the SurfacePro3. It does not allow 2 different resolutions so goes with lower on both.

Great adapter for presentations

The most common connection, however, is the standard VGA port, so this adapter works great. Are there cheaper alternatives? Sure, but this one matches my Surface and looks very professional.

Very handy device

It is working well. I had an excellent experience at the store with good help to select this items. I enjoy having this assistance personally and that is why I go to the store for help.
