I use one of these at work, and when I got set up to work remotely, I knew I needed one for home as well. I tend to have wrist/forearm/ulnar pain with flat keyboards when used over an extended period of time, and this keyboard went a LONG way toward helping relieve that discomfort. My only gripes with it that the space bar is quite loud and it is rather large. Otherwise, the keys have a great spring back, it's sturdy and doesn't wobble regardless of position with the included wrist stand, extended feet, or just flat on the desk. If your desk is on the small side, this might not work for you, but I also use a Trackball Mouse (logitech M570) so it's not too much of an issue, though I do find myself adjusting the keyboard at times to get it out of the way.
It only took about 3 days of use to get totally comfortable with the ergo split keyboard, but now it feels weird to use a flat keyboard. There's definitely less reach for the 'T' & 'Y' keys than a flat, and my wrists are able to stay much more still while I work.

This keyboard has been around for several years. I have had several. It is better than the off-brand copies that I tried. I have used ergonomic keyboards for about 10 years now and I cannot believe that anyone uses a non-ergo - the difference in wrist strain is substantial. This Microsoft keyboard has a comfortable wrist pad, and has never had any problems in terms of function or use. It is a stylish black color and looks very hip in my view.

Once you are used to using the split keyboard ergonomic style the keyboard is more comfortable and easier to use than any regular keyboard.

This is the best keyboard you can get, especially for the price. I am trying to fight off carpal tunnel and one of my employees has it, and this keyboard has been a godsend to us both. It's durable and reliable AND you can take it apart and clean it or dry it out if something spills in it. Google it.

My last keyboard got coffee spilled on it by my dog so I came in to Best Buy to replace it. I had used an ergonomic keyboard in the past and had liked it so I chose this one based on layout, price and that it works with Windows 10. I have really gotten to enjoy using this keyboard, had it a few weeks now. My wrists don't get the fatigue I experienced with a "straight" keyboard. Since I also use it for gaming there was a short re-learning period but now that I'm used to it there is less hand cramping with games, too.

Good keyboard - responsive, good key and travel, and responsive. Reasonably price. A little large - not good if you have a small desk.

My husband has a very small tablet/laptop for his job. We ordered this keyboard recently so that he doesn't have to type on the small keyboard. As it turns out, he has two others like this at two of his remote offices. He really likes this ergonomic keyboard; it's quite comfortable and easy to use.

I love this keyboard while programming or typing at home. But when I have to take it outside, it seems to be sooooo big.

Having been recently diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome, I figured that I needed to reduce the stress on my joints and wrists as much as I could and would give this keyboard a try. I was afraid it would be difficult to get used to it but I had no issues adjusting to the layout and I started seeing results of less pain in my hands and wrists within 2 weeks. I will never go back to using a conventional keyboard.

I bought this keyboard for work because working 40+ hours a week on a standard keyboard started to take a toll on my hands. This keyboard really does have a more natural feel for how my hands lay. The keys are quiet, flatter than the other one, and everything flows smoothly. Would definitely recommend this for pain relief.
