I got this as a Valentine's Day gift for my boyfriend and he LOVED it! He plays computer games for hours on end, so the ergonomic contour and padded wrist rest are perfect for him. He says it's super comfortable and he can play for hours without cramping. Awesome keyboard!

Overall good quality and comfortable to use. I like the thick band at the lower end, which prevents strain on my wrists. I also like that this keyboard can be reclined forward with back end higher than front end, which is ergonomically recommended.

I am a medical transcriptionist so I spend 10-14 hours a day at my keyboard. This is the only keyboard that I can use. It helps wrist soreness. I have used this particular model for the last 9 years, and only had to go buy a new keyboard because I spilled water in my old one.

This keyboard in absolutely great for users like me with constant shoulder pain and limited finger dexterity. I really like resting my wrists on the ergonomic rest in front the keys. It makes my work a lot easier.

This is the first ergonomic keyboard I have owned, and I have been pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to adapt to using it, despite the shape. The keyboard itself enforces good typing habits. I would recommend to anyone who uses a keyboard as part of their job functions.

Great keyboard! I liked it so much that I purchased it again. First one is now 15 years old so very durable. In addition to being ergonomic, I also really like the resting pad for your wrists as most keyboards don’t have this feature.

It's responsive and comfortable. It took me a few hours to get accustomed to the ergonomic design but now I have no problems using it. It is helping me avoid the tiredness and stiffness I was getting in my hands and wrists with the standard keyboard. I chose a wired keyboard and mouse because I get tired of replacing batteries every 2-3 weeks in USB wireless units. I've been typing for well over 50 years, beginning with manual typewriters and progressing through to electrics and computer keyboards. This is probably the most comfortable of all of them.

This keyboard is awesome it has a great comfortable feel and it takes a little getting used to it but one you get used to it no other keyboard can compare. It pretty cheap too but its not wireless so that is one drawback but I don't care.

At least my wrists couldn't live without it. I use one of these at the office and at home. Once you give it a week to get used to it, it sustains if not improves your typing speed and accuracy. The angles are perfect for the wrists. Nifty feature buttons if you use them. Reliable and inexpensive. They will wear out after a while though. This one has a little bit of a sticky space bar.

This keyboard is fairly large and fills my under desk slide out tray. It does what it's advertised to do... protects hands and wrists from overuse injury. Because it is split, the keys are in slightly different locations so if you are a good typist it might take a few days to feel comfortable and produce error free typing. I bought this and the track ball mouse after having wrist surgery and have the same keyboard now at work but with different mouse (have the vertical mouse there). I don't use any of the special features of this keyboard so I can't review them. Overall this is a good product. It is physically larger than most typical keyboards but if you type a lot for long periods of time you will appreciate how much better your hands and wrists will feel.

I've been using the MS 4000 keyboard for several years now. IMHO it is the most ergonomically comfortable keyboard available as long as it is used properly. ie. use the piece that elevates the front/wrist side of the keyboard and remove and discard the u-shaped pieces that some use to raise the back side of the keyboard. If you enjoy carpel tunnel syndrome, then go ahead and jack up the back of your keyboard and type with your wrists pronated instead of the natural wrist position achieved by having the keyboard angled away from you.

Highly recommend. I would say the space bar takes some time to get used to for myself, but after a few days, it didn't bother me anymore. I can't use a regular keyboard without it feeling strange now. The learning curve for the whole thing is roughly 3/4 days. Then you are used to it. Helpful for shoulder/neck problems, because you no longer lift your shoulders to type. Best Buy - where are the ergonomic mouse options though? Very limited - had to go elsewhere for that.

I work at my computer all day long. For me, this is the only keyboard that prevents cramping. It's a comfortable split in the keyboard, and that's it. Other than that, it's just a regular keyboard. Not particularly smooth or soft keystrokes. I've had a few of these over the years and they are long lasting, good quality builds. I like the volume controls, but other than that I don't use any of the "extra" keys. There aren't any other popular ergo keyboards that I've seen, so I always get this one when I need a new keyboard.

Generally, it is a perfect model, good for wrist and the shortcut key is useful. However, I find some points that defect the my rating. 1. The space bar is sometimes stiff, especially when you hit the edge. 2. I think the keyboard split angle should be more than 12 degree because I feel a little unsatisfied for I still need to twist my wrist a little. After all, it is much better than a standard keyboard.

I have been using the old white Microsoft Nature split keyboard for years. I have looked at this one before, but just did not like the feel if the keys and didn't want to replace a good working keyboard. But the old keyboard finally bit the dust. Since this keyboard was in stock, I decided to get it and try it out. I need a split keyboard to keep my from having painful wrists. If it didn't work out, I would return it. This keyboard has grown on me. It took a couple of days to get used to the key travel and feel, but it does work very well. After the break in period (my break in period, not the keyboard), I have been happy with the purchase.

This keyboard went out after about 8 months of use. But I really like it when it's working. The keys have great feedback and the ergonomics are good after an adjustment period. I liked it enough to replace it with the same keyboard that I luckily found at a thrift store. Also, the letters started rubbing off within a few months, driving me crazy as I'm a partially visual typer. As far as ergonomics go, it took about a week to get used to and it hasn't bothered me since. I actually really like it now. The space bar can also start wearing out after a while. Another word of caution: It's MASSIVE. It barely fits on my desk and projects vertically nearly 3 inches at the apex, meaning it won't fit a small desk. I have to push my monitor way back of the edge of the desk on my 24" deep desk.
