Great for people who need an ergonomic keyboard

I bought my first MS Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 years ago, and it worked flawlessly until a month ago. It was a steal when I bought it on sale at $60~ back then, so I jumped on the chance to buy it again at $40 or so. It's just like my previous one: easy to set up, comfortable to type on, responsive keys... I work at an office job, and spend more of my off time on my PC than I'd like to admit, but my wrists hurt a lot less when I use an ergonomic keyboard for at least part of the day. I don't know how well the extra buttons work (like the volume control, and some other things I never bothered with), and it does take up a lot of real estate, so if you're looking for something smaller (or something the same size, but with more bells and whistles), this might not be for you.

This is the best ergonomic keyboard hands down. I've used this one for nearly 10 years. I've tried others but the way this one works it just the best. I highly recommend. Plus, get the 6.00 warranty and you are guaranteed a new keyboard for the next 2 years.

The keyboard has a padded wrist support, which works great. The angled keys are a natural fit. I wish the keys would illuminate for working in low light. The keyboard has extras for mouse oprations and shortcuts but I have not use them. I do use this keyboard for gaming with no issues.

Every looks at the key board funny, but once they tried it, everyone has asked where I purchased it. I love the way it is naturally fitting ti my hands and wrist. It removes any form of strain, especially if you are trying to remain ergonomically correct.

Provides a comfortable surface for someone who does a lot of typing and has wrist pain. My biggest complaint is that all of the letters/numbers rub off the keys very quickly. It's not a problem when you're typing fast, but if you're going slow and have to look down, it's confusing.

I spend my entire workday on the computer. Prior to using this keyboard I could feel the onset of carpel tunnel in my wrists. Since using this keyboard I have had no problems at all. This is my second one. Spilled coffee in the first one. I will not work without one of these again.

I started using this keyboard as my wrists were hurting from typing all day. This keyboard surely helped me with that even though it took me some time to get used to the new keyboard. I had to learn to type and re-position my wrists. I am glad my colleague recommended me this keyboard she has been using for over a year!

Great product. We have four total between home and office, it helps if you've had a typing class at some point in your life and know the correct keyboard finger placement, seems to be really confusing for those who haven't. My wife had Carpal Tunnel issues but this keyboard has really helped with that...

I've used this model keyboard for years- once you get used to an ergonomic keyboard you can't go back to a regular keyboard easily. This replaced a similar model from Microsoft that I've had close to 8 years. It was simply time to replace it and this one is just as good.

Bought the Microsoft 4000 keyboard to replace my old one 4000 keyboard. Why? Let's just say they don't work well after spilling a glassful of water all over it. Otherwise, it's a great keyboard.

This is an awesome keyboard if you have to use one all day long. I have been using an ergonomic keyboard for many years off and on. Whenever I use a regular keyboard I find myself wanting to go back to this kind. It is easy on my wrists and it helps to keep my hands from typing injuries such as carpal tunnel.

I suffer from carpal tunnel so this keyboard has been a lifesaver for me. Most of my day is centered on typing on a computer. Using this ergonomic keyboard has made my work easier. I suffer much less pain in my wrists now that I have it.

Excellent keyboard. I was uncertain about the split in between the keys in the middle, but I have come to love it. It is also a very comfortable keyboard. I am glad that I bought this keyboard and would definitely recommend it to others.

Very comfortable on my hands and wrists! I have this for my home (my young boys are learning to type) and at work. Great key 'feedback' and feel I just wish it were wireless.

I used to have problems with intermittent tendonitis. A few changes in my body position and this ergonomic keyboard have resolved that problem. I tried other keyboards, without the same results. So for my money, this is a great choice.

This keyboard seems like an extreme switch from the standard layout but I was able to take to it no problem. If you've never used a split design before this is a drastic step in that direction as the wave in the middle is larger than most others of this style. However, it has only made my experience with this keyboard better. I went to this style because I was having wrist pain and that vanished immediately. So far the only down sides I would say are that it is not the most gamer friendly design on the market and the space bar is LOUD. I feel like I am going to wake up the house sometimes (I have not actually bothered anyone so maybe it's just loud to me), it is NOT stiff or difficult to press, just has a loud click with it

This is one of my favorite keyboards. I have had a couple of them now as they don't drink coffee well. But it takes pressure off of my wrists when typing. It plugged in and worked right away. No worry about updates or anything else.
