It definitely takes time to get used to it. A doctor recommended me to buy an ergonomic keyboard and this one is pretty good.

Very comfortable hand position. Cord is plenty long for most set ups. Keys are relatively quiet and easy to type on.

I really needed an ergonomic keyboard that was NOT wireless because wireless technology has oh so far to go before it's flawless. This keyboard is fabulous. The only thing I dislike about it is how long it is and how hot my hands get pressed against the little faux leather strip you rest on while writing. The length is sorta unavoidable with ergonomic keyboards so I didn't take off any points for that and as for the hotness, that is also pretty unavoidable with any keyboard designed for you to rest on it.

If you like the 'wavy' keyboards, this one is good. Plenty of extra controls, and it's comfortable to use.

This keyboard was bought to escape from using the keyboard on the laptop at work. It's big, but not too bulky. It's a great deal for the price.

This is my 2nd one. I have one at home. I used this one at work because the wireless one does not work too well when it is humid and rainy.

Not everyone likes ergonomic keyboards. But once you get used to one, if you try to go back to the old style "flat" keyboards, you immediately see why ergonomic ones are so comfortable. They let your hands and arms be in a natural position. You don't have to keep your elbows pinned to your ribs to type. There's no shoulder fatigue. Like many things that are worthwhile, an ergonomic keyboard takes a little time to get used to. But after using one for a while, you won't want to go back.

I have had a few of these. My only complaint is that the letters rub off long before the keyboard wares out. And I wish they had a wireless version

I give my overall rating with some hesitation. The keyboard itself is very good and works fine, especially the ergonomic part. The issue was that my keyboard has to sit on a keyboard tray and unfortunately this keyboard was to tall to let me close the tray at the end of the day. If they offered this keyboard with backlit keys and not as tall, it would be a 5 even if it cost considerably more.
