I've been using this keyboard for 15+ years and would definitely recommend it to anyone who uses an ergonomic keyboard. The only reason I've ever had to replace one is because I was careless.

    Great Keyboard and Feel

I purchased this keyboard to replace this same model of keyboard. The only reason I did this was my last Microsoft 4000 keyboard was 9 years old and I had worn out the letters and the bumps on the "F" and "J". The keyboard was still working, but it was just worn out and the keys were getting louder. This keyboard will last you a very long time if you are worried about how long you can get out of it. I originally bought this keyboard 9 years ago because I was having wrist issues typing on a standard keyboard. This keyboard made my wrist issues go away. Well worth it if you want a more natural feel or have wrist issues.

the natural curvature of this keyboard is sooooooooooooo comfortable and easy on the hands and wrists, I can type faster and never get tired. If you like shortcuts, this keyboard has all kinds of them, and it's super quiet, no load typing noises.

I was given one of these at work. Took some getting use to at first, but was very comfortable to use. I liked it so much, I bought this one to have at home. Not only do I think the keyboard is more comfortable, I think my speed and accuracy has improved.

I want to like it but, I'm having a harder time adjusting to the odd sized keys, T, G, H, N, &7 keys are all wider than the rest. I thought I would adapt faster to it than I have. Other than my difficulties, It's a great keyboard at a reasonable price.

Thus is my second time purchasing this keyboard. I love the way it's set up and having an attached wrist pad is an extra plus. he only drawback is that after several years of heavy use the letters wore off on the keys.

I usually buy a Logitech keyboard. I couldn't find one that really fit my needs so I bought the Microsoft ergo keyboard. It is everything that it stated. Easy keys, lots of extras etc

I wanted a keyboard that I didn't have to spend a lot of money on, because I only need it occasionally. This is very comfortable. Would recommend if you don't want to spend the money on the Bluetooth Keyboard and want something more comfortable ergonomically friendly.

I work from home doing software development, and am a touch typeset (sorry no hunt & pecking for me) This is the second one I've had over the years, first one died after an incident with our bird, kid & liquids. Keyboard spacing works well for those with large hands, the palm rest doesn't get sticky or wear down over time. After a few years of use the key letters did wear off, primary on the ASDF & JKL; keys though. Never had any issues with it not working on the System, Windows 7,8,8.1,10 & Ubuntu Linux. all handle it without problems.

BEST ergonomic keyboard, period - I'm a programmer

This is by far the best ergonomic keyboard you can buy. I'm a programmer and type all day long, I've been using the MS 4000 for over a decade, I stock them just so that if I break one I can unbox a new one right away and be back in business -- this is how much I love these! The best typing position is with the front bracket installed but with the rear feet *not* extended, so it's kinda sloping down, away from you. Your wrists rest on the nicely padded front area, and your fingers naturally fall onto the keys.

This is one of the best keyboard that I have worked with. I have worked on this type for 14 years at work and it was so good that I bought one for home for 10 years. They last a long time. It also helped with my Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.

I love this keyboard! I've been using this model for ~10 years. It keeps my hands in better positions than a straight keyboard. To fully use all of the functions, it's best to download Microsoft's keyboard software. I have programs tied to "my favorites" buttons, and as trivial as it may seem, it makes starting up my day at work much easier—once booted up, I press the home, mail, #1 (3 times), #2, and #3 buttons—and everything I need to start the day is on my screen.

I now own 3 of these and love them. They are very comfortable to use when having to type a lot. My wife uses hers and it helps her carpal tunnel in her wrists from flaring up.

This keyboard has a soft touch to it at the bottom, which I like. This is my 1st time having an ergonomic keyboard and at 1st it took a little getting used to. But I love it.

I really do like the keyboard. the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is it takes a little time to get use to where the keys are. On the other hand it is so much of a more normal position for my hands and wrist. A lot less strain and I love the shortcut keys.

Very easy to install, like the comfort. Only thing that I find with it is very minor is always hitting the lock key - bad location for my use. But overall a nice keyboard.

My doctor suggested I try a different keyboard (and separately a better raised mousepad), and this is definitely an improvement. I like the two angled , and split keyboard, as well as the comfortable raised hand rests on the front.

My previous keyboard was the same model, I needed a new one as I dumped a glass of apple juice on it. So purchased the same type, was a bit less expensive then the first one I bought. Keyboard works well for me, no issues.
