I chose the office Home version since I use Word and Excel the most. I would recommend reviewing your most used Office offerings and look at the different packaged offerings before purchasing. Buy what you truly need... or what you need and wish you had available to use. They offer multiple packages.

Much better than the subscription for home use. It's a one time purchase that is easy to install and does everything an occasional user needs. I would recommend this to anyone.

Excellent in store service from Salesperson and Geek squad. NOTE: I have not purchased a computer since 2011. Only reason I purchased what I have now was - Computer Updates could not be performed on old computer. Salesperson was patient, explained features of each computer I questioned about, was thorough, friendly and professional. I was especially impressed with her knowledge regarding computer I purchased. salesperson was an employee with DELL and did not pressure sell on Dell computers at all! (I had never heard of brand computer I purchased. I am happy with it!)

Installation was easy on my new all in one computer. After purchase they send you an email with a code and instructions. I like that it is a one time cost and not a recurring monthly fee.

Very good choice for what we need. Nothing fancy, but a great replacement for a 15-yr-old Dell. On any new computer, when building it with SW & Anti-Virus, take care to avoid conflicts from data in the cloud taking it over before you can load certain software, like MS Office. It made a mess that had to be cleaned up so I could load new MS Office, because it was feeding off the cloud.
