Microsoft Office on a single device for a one-time price is a much better deal than paying monthly for 365 if you only need it on one machine. I bought the product for my grandson to load on his new computer. He did the install and had no troubles. Even though he has used a chrome book for most of his high school life. He wanted a Microsoft program. I agreed it is well tested and easy to use.

The product itself is perfect. Everything works as expected. I love the fact that I did not have to sign up for a monthly subscription, I'm all for one and done. The only issue I had was actually installing it. For some reason it was on the laptop but I could not do anything with it. I had to go back to the store so that they could assist wtih getting everything to work.

I upgraded my 2011 G560 laptop running Office XP to a 2023 G14 and required a current Office Suite. Primarily needed a word processor and spreadsheet for daily use, with the occasional PowerPoint option. First tried the freeware LibeOffice suite, although it was adequate for reading my existing MS .doc's and smaller MS .xls spreadsheets, it could not handle my larger spreadsheets with multiple worksheets that have complex formulas and extensive formatting. It would fail with "not responding" errors when trying to save those spreadsheets. That left me with two options, the subscription-based MS Office 365, or this one-time purchase MS Office 2021 Home & Student. Not a fan of subscription models with annual fees, so Office 2021 was my only choice. After purchasing online, I received a MS Digital Download email with a web link and code to install on my new laptop. Installation was quick and setup was very easy. Reads, updates, and saves all of my existing MS Office files without issues. Still getting acclimated with the current program version layouts and their updated features. My only negative is the price, but for my use, it is still a more cost-effective solution vs. paying an annual subscription fee.

This is an excellent product. I highly recommend the windows 24 Pro edition.. I did not realize what the difference was between the home edition and the pro edition. They’re there are differences between the pro edition and the home edition meaning the pro edition has word and I feel that that’s a necessary part of windows. I am very, very happy with my choice of getting the pro edition.
