a necessity
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Microsoft office use to offer this for up to 3 computers, now it's good just for one. Most of the enhancements to the functionality for excel and word are good but rather expensive relative to what was offered in the past

Better to buy than to subscribe
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you only have one computer on which to use word processing, than buy it rather than subscribe. It will save you money. This package is more than adequate for my needs. In fact, I haven't explored all the bells and whistles available. Don't waste your money on the latest and greatest and most complete package if you don't need to: this one will serve most everyone's needs.

For better or worse its is the real Windows Office
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Needed this to be compatible with my daughter's Word, Excel, and PP files. Obviously does the job. Once I do learn where everything is, I am sure I will appreciate some of the new features. I can see some good things already.

This product isn't intended for my primary computi
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am familiar with the old Office 2007 and have been able to do the limilted amount of things I have needed to do with Office on this. I expect at some time to use the Power Point, Publisher and Word functions of this program to a greater extent but I just haven't really used it enough to know it really deserves an excellent rating.

Usefull Office Package
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I decided to buy this version which doesn't include Outlook because I had experienced problems with the syncing feature of Outlook on my business computer. I am happy that I saved a little money and don't miss Outlook. I set up my mail using a different platform and am happy with the results. The Office package performs as intended.

Disappointed that it didn't include Publisher.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am happy that it has Word, Excel and PowerPoint but, I also needed Publisher. I use Word the most and Excel somewhat so I am very glad to have this new version. I haven't used the Note as of this time.

Great software for my use
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm not a "techie", and this software fits all my needs. I only need simple spreadsheets and basic features. I'm glad I could buy it outright, and not pay a monthly fee. It was a little more expensive than I would have liked, but I was familiar with earlier versions and felt this would be an easy transition for me.

Nice to have
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The only thing bad about Windows is that now I have to pay for it every year for the upgrade whereas previously it came on the computers automatically. Otherwise I do like it, it's convenient and too bad it cost so much for something that is essential to have in a setting that uses documents.

Great Upgrade!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This purchase was an upgrade to my older version of Office-2003. At first I was reluctant to upgrade because I thought there would be a hard 'learning curve' with the newer version. It was not an issue at all as this upgrade is so intuitive and it also easily converts any older Word & Excell documents to the newer format. By this instead of paying the monthly fee.

Superb Word Processing and Spreadsheet MS Office S
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The latest Microsoft Office product, "Office Home & Student 2013", doesn't include the ability to e-mail calendars and tasks via Outlook which the more expensive "Office Home & Business 2013" does have. Nor am I sure what the major difference are between its versions of WORD, EXCEL and POWERPOINT with the prior Office 2010 version, since I have been using primarily Office 2007 for years. However, I can note how pleasantly surprised I was with the new document templates in WORD - as well as spreadsheet templates in EXCEL - that make desktop publishing substantially less of a chore than it could be; for example, in WORD, there are templates for creating fliers and other marketing tools. To its credit Microsoft has gone out of its way to make this some of the most useful user-friendly software I have used, starting with a video tour of this product. I also have to commend Microsoft for keeping much of the same layout as I know with WORD 2007, making it quite easy to retrieve and to edit documents, and to save them in earlier WORD formats as well as others. Anyone needing a superb word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software that is truly state-of-the-art won't be disappointed with this latest incarnation of MS OFFICE.

Installed well, and works well.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Installed successfully with a minimum amount of fuss and bother. Works as expected. I had been using OpenOffice until now, but going from work MS Office to home OpenOffice had enough differences to make it worth the expense to make them the same. Stable product t a good price.

A good product for the basics
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The software seems to be working fine...easy install and set-up. I was a bit disappointed it does not come with Outlook, especially after using Outlook.com in Windows 8.1...my fault for not paying enough attention...
