    Normal Microsoft Latest Edition

Just the latest update of Microsoft Word, Excel, etc software so works quite well. You need this if you do any kind of normal word processing as what is included with Windows 8.1 is not very extensive. If you are not familiar with the Ribbon at the top of each app, that can take some learning but easy to use after getting familiar with it. One caution, though, pay attention to the particular product. The Microsoft Office 365 is cheaper than Microsoft Office Home and Student but is only a one year subscription while Home and Student cost more but is the traditional kind you load permanently to your PC and then buy updates later if you want. I guess Office 365 is for the professional that needs the latest and greatest as they come out. Download process working smoothly – Connect to internet, fill in info, and it downloads. Very large download, though, about three quarters of a gigbyte.

Microsoft Office 2013 is great. I love the update from the 2003 version of this program. It has helped me with word processing. Excel is excellent in creating a banking checkbook register. Power Point makes the greatest presentations. You will love this new Microsoft Office 2013 and it is well worth the cost.

Since I use MS Office a lot, especially with my going back to school, I highly recommend making the investment to buy the software outright instead of leasing it as after 2 years you've paid more in rent then for an outright purchase. (I don't use the Cloud that much, so others may differ in their opinions.)

    Office 2013

I always had a "knock off" version of Office; I got a new computer recently and there was no "Office" at all not even a knock off. I finally had to buy the real thing. I use this at work all of the time and am familiar with how it works and It makes it easier for me to remember all of the formulas now because it is the same as what I use at work. It works well for what I need, which is keeping track of my bills and handling my part time business calculations for the year. I would recommend this to anyone that has basic needs like me for Word and Excel , this also includes Power Point, OneNote and Outlook. If you need more than these you will need to get a higher edition. However this works fine for my needs.

It loads and installs as expected. All the functionality I need (and in some cases more) for things around the house. No issues so far. It may be a little pricey for what you get, but they have a monopoly on it so it is what it is.

No problems installing and it works great! It comes with basic word, excel, power point and Outlook. I wish it included access and publisher but I'd have to pay a lot more for those items

As a relatively lo tech person, I find that having the software on my computer as oppossed to the 365 product, everything is working for me just fine. I wasted money on the 365 because I did not research it before the purchase and there is no refund available. This is a good product.

I recently purchased Home Office. & Student 2013 for my wife. This version can be downloaded to one computer with no annual renewal. For her classes she is taking this is perfect. It has everything you would Expect Microsoft Office have except outlook. Great product, great price.

Once this product was installed into our Mac, we were able to once again use this computer. It is easy to navigate and most helpful in being able to do Word, Excel and many other applications. It has eliminate many of the problem we were having. I would recommend this program.

Works okay. Was not happy that Publisher was not included but Word has some newer templates that I can use since I do not have publisher. Pricey but the alternative is way crazy. If you need it you have to get it.

Microsoft has great software that is easy to use. It is a very versitile combination that meets all the needs for both home and buisiness. It is a little pricy, but worth the price in my opinion.

I've used Microsoft Word since its introduction many years ago. It continues to be the standard for word processing and basic document layout. Word is feature rich and easy to use whether you are creating correspondence or a more advanced document. Microsoft Excell also continues to improve both in functionality and ease of use. My only complaint is that the price is pretty steep compare to the competition. Still, it isn't high enough to push me to another product.

I was pleased with how easy the new edition of Office was to install and begin using. The adjustment from 2007 to 2010 felt more frustrating to me; some of the improvements in 2013 are very user friendly. Others are not as well suited for my work (I don't need yet another cloud storage), but I see how they would be very useful for offices that require more file sharing. Overall, 2013 looks to be very easy to use and adjust to, and I'm looking forward to getting used to it. I *do* wish the 1-user suite could be installed on 2 machines for this price, and that I could cherry pick just the specific programs I need from Office, but those options seem yet to arrive.
